European Store and Deli — Local services in Wasilla

An excellent selection of German/Russian/Eastern European products, especially for Alaska. Love the deli meats and selection of canned fish and the variety of teas. Candy selection is impossible to pass by and the homemade breads and goods at the counter will instantly make you hungry. They are definitely worth coming back for! Counter service is nice even if there might be a language barrier for some. They try their hardest to help. This shop is a Valley gem and I hope it stays. It's been my favorite place to go for a little piece of my childhood...

love the products but the rudeness at the counter lack of customer service destroys my enthusiasm for coming in. How long are you going to talk to the lady who has already purchased and has everything in those disgusting plastic bags (which should be banned) while I stand waiting to be served. Not just a quick exchange, a very long dranwout conversation! A little just a little help with product info would go a long way in forging better relations with customers who aren't fluent in...

Really neat little store to buy all your specific European ingredients. I stop by when I have a specific recipe that calls for an international ingredient they carry or for a sweet treat. My husband loves the Turkish delight and I love the other sweet treats. Homemade cakes and sandwiches and lots of meats and pierogi!
