Mr. Taco Wasilla — Restaurant in Wasilla

Service was great but not what I was hoping for at $18 for a burrito with double meat no beans that I ordered it had vary little meat i mean vary little 8 little bits for the whole thing yes I counted Don’t miss understand it has good flavor and was a fair size but for $18 plus tax It wasn’t the only one ether we also ordered a regular carna asada California burrito $14 it had a whole (6) less then bite size piece in it We were there about an hour before closing so maybe they were running low Hopefully they aren’t so stingy next time I will try again in a few weeks I love Mexican food and like to support local I May even try a third time to give them the best shot but not again I’ll update or even delete or revise this review if it’s better next time otherwise if you like meat in your burrito good luck getting it here hoping it was a one time thing not a good first impression though If you read all of this 🤷‍♂️wish it was a different ending good luck saying in business long term...

First and last time visiting. I will start out by stating I do prefer to sit down, order and have service. But walk in and order from a menu on the wall. A little confusing so looked for a while...which I had the time as there was no staff to provide any feedback. Finally, somebody there (owner?) but not too much to offer as far as making a suggestion. Not much on the menu I really liked, so ended up with the gringo taco meal. And took a seat. Ah so nice the plate was brought to the table. Oh, but I had to self-service and get my own silverware and napkin. No water offered. Hard bought taco shell filled with ground beef and maybe 12 pieces of shredded cheese. Greasy and well just beef. I am sure beans straight from the can, with the obligatory 12 pieces of shredded cheese. orange rice, not any flavor. AND then the topper, you get to bus your own plates and clear your table. And a tip jar is out...not sure for what...there...

What a great experience. Placed an order, but hey only gave me half the order and i didn't notice it until I got home. Too tired to drive back to get the rest of the order. I called and they too realized what had happened, with profuse apologies. The girl who answered volunteered to bring the rest of the dinner to us. 10 minutes she arrived on my doorstep with more apologies. What a sincere sweetheart! We then sat down to one of the most delicious meals we've had AND it was all so fresh and tasty! What started out as a rather trying experience turned into a very happy one... all because of a sincere, thoughtful, conscientious employee. And delicious, well prepared food.
