Culinary Inspirations — Attraction in Watertown

Chef Ross did an incredible job making my mom's 70th birthday a fun and memorable event. It was a small gathering (5 adults and 2 kids, ages 5 & 6) and he had creative ways for everyone to be involved. Not only did we eat extremely well, but he showed us techniques (i.e., how to properly cut and mash an avocado, grate cheese, and shred cabbage) and gave us helpful kitchen and cooking tips that we have since incorporated to our family's cooking habits.

The meal itself was delicious: guacamole, tacos with grilled beef (which he marinated for a day ahead), vegetables, rice and beans, buffalo cauliflower (my FAVORITE!), cheese, and quesadillas. He also made a blueberry margaritas for the grown ups and an alcohol-free version for the kids and non-drinkers in the group.

The best part was how Chef Ross engaged and involved everyone in the fun. Especially with two little kids running around and wanting to be a part of the action. He did all the clean up and even helped bring the cake to my mom so we could all sing to celebrate her.

If you are thinking of a small, fun, and unique experience to celebrate any occasion, I hope you will consider Chef Ross, or as my now affectionately refers to him, "Super Magical Chef Ross." Thank you, Chef Ross for making my mom's 70th birthday celebration a nice time we will...

(Edited to reply) From the university group catered by Culinary Inspirations for this semester. This review was in direct response to the note you left on our fridge to leave review. My reason for the negative review is mainly that the plan seems overpriced; for example, I do not think a single small ham and cheese sandwich (a regular meal over the weeks), or a slice of cheese-only pizza is a reasonable meal for the price we pay ( $15 per meal)

That being said, I would still like to thank you for providing a reliable and consistent service during a hard time.

We had the pleasure of working with Chef Ross to celebrate and congratulate my husband's work team. Not only was the meal incredible but Ross made the preparation the best part of the evening (except for the eating of course!). The food was delicious, the custom cocktail he created was delightful and the ambiance was perfect. In addition to the shopping and preparation, Chef Ross cleaned up the kitchen so that everything was tidy before he left -- no small feat after prime rib!
