Today 4/5/23 , I brought two kids to see the super Mario movie. Upon us arriving for our movie noone was there to scan our tix in. So the only theater that said super Mario was open with ppl coming out. I asked what was going on the gentlemen cleaning theater asked if we was there for the 330 show where I told him yes. He said they still had to clean the theater so we could wait outside.
After about 20 mins I then seen the ticket person in front to scan tix was never there when I tried scanning tix and asked at 357 why was the movie pushed back? He said our movie was in another theater and started.
I then spoke to the manager Gloria told her we’ve already missed the first 30 mins if we could be refunded. I explained everything she said ok refunded. Now the kids have the first half missed a good piece while we’re sitting there the manager comes back to the theater in tells me to take the kids and leave cause she refunded us. Again she knew that there was no ticket person there and the cleaner gave us incorrect info. The Gm Scott comes over “pay for the tix again they just refunded or leave theater”.After I’ve been given incorrect info they then Wanted me to pull the kids out after they started watching for 10 mins to leave. So they made me pay again for a movie that no one was around to direct us too and given wrong info from one of their employees. The Gm did not care that there was no one there to even scan my tix or that the employee cleaning told him he gave me wrong info.
I then said refund me the kids then and I pay for mine they didn’t want to take any responsibility. This is the worse I’ve ever been treated at a theater. Not only was that embarrassing how they treated me but didn’t care then the gm proceeded to speak aggressively like I announced you missed oh well I have never witnessed or experienced such an ignorant Gm...
Read moreI've visited this theater many times and have had amazing experiences, but last night, I had my worst experience at any movie theater yet. I was going to watch the new Rocky IV ultimate directors cut which is ONLY IN THEATERS ONE NIGHT ONLY. We were waiting for the live interview with Sylvester Stallone himself to start for quite some time, but it did eventually start. The interview lasted around 20 minutes and got everybody hyped up for the premier. On the screen, was the title of the movie, and below it, it said the presentation would start momentarily. This is when everything went wrong. We were waiting for it to start for almost an hour, and at that point, I had to see what was going on. Me and one of my friends walked outside the theater, where there were already people questioning employees, asking them why this movie has not started. Someone that worked there told us they were working on it and the movie would start in just a few minutes. More than a few minutes later, the movie still had not started. This had taken too long, and we decided to get a refund and leave the theater so no more of our time was wasted. When we all got to our homes, my Mom called Majestic 7 to find out they had cancelled the event and refunded everyone who had wanted to see it. I was extremely disappointed that night, and I still am the next morning. Please, if possible, premier this in the Majestic 7 theater one last time tonight, everyone who showed up last night...
Read moreI recently had the incredible experience of watching 'Oppenheimer' at the Majestic 7 in Arsenal Yard, and I can't praise the experience enough. The theaters are state-of-the-art, with comfortable seating and top-notch audio-visual quality. Watching the film on their IMAX screen was a mesmerizing experience, truly bringing the story of the Manhattan Project to life.
What really stood out, however, was the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth, making the entire experience all the more enjoyable.
Arsenal Yard itself is a delightful place to spend an evening. With free parking and a plethora of shops, cafes, and restaurants, it's a one-stop destination for entertainment. The fact that the theater offers discounted tickets on Tuesdays is always a plus, making it even more enticing for movie lovers.
After soaking up the history of 'Oppenheimer,' my wife and I couldn't resist the opportunity to 'decontaminate from three hours of radiation' by posing in the giant Barbie box nearby. It was the perfect whimsical end to a memorable evening.
Highly recommend the Majestic 7 and Arsenal Yard for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic movie experience with some...
