Totally confused on what to rate this place. Service was great. Portions some small and some big. Prices might be high. All seemed to be enjoying their dinner until the smallest MOUSE I have ever seen ran across the floor in front and behind us last night. The two ladies at table next to us were mortified.

The waiter tried to scoop it up with a stand up dustpan and broom, but to no avail. After about 10 minutes one of the people in our party got it in a napkin and took it outside to let it go after almost 5 minutes... now the waiter had no clue what to do. But you would think the manager would come over.. NOPE.

Now you would even think someone from the place would come over and apologize. NOPE. The other waiter tried to claim this mini mouse came in from the front door. Ok that one I seriously doubt.

But Condesa next time hint: send a manager over to apologize as our table and the very nice two ladies sitting next to us were a little upset. Next time don't leave it to your guests to catch the mouse. No one other then our waiter even seemed to be phased as this was going on! Yes even I have a mice problem in my attic but it's how u handle it and the management here did not even seem to care. Makes you wonder if this is normal occurrence.

Hats off to the waiter, but everyone else here was terrible handling of the situation! I feel bad leaving this review, but as I just said to a friend, it is all the truth. You simply should not have a mouse running thru a restaurant, and if one does, a manager needs to handle this, and this manager never even...

The atmosphere here is wonderful, the food is good, but the service is HORRIBLE. I've tried this place twice and was disappointed both times.

The first experience I went in with friends for lunch- there must have been some miscommunication between the servers toward the end of our meal. Our table sat waiting for our check for 20 minutes while servers cleaned the restaurant and talked at the host stand. We had to flag someone down, we did eventually get our bill but that ruined the experience.

I also came in last weekend with my partner. The restaurant was empty aside from one other table (we came in after the lunch rush). There was a group of staff hanging out and talking at a table near where we were sat. We expected quick service because it wasn't busy... And sat at the table with our water for over 10 minutes without anyone coming over to take an order. The staff too was busy chatting among themselves to serve us, so we left our waters and went over to Buttermilk and Bourbon. We had a much better...

I recently visited Condesa Mexican Restaurant with a party of ten, and we had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our meal was the delicious homemade guacamole, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. It had the perfect balance of creamy avocado, zesty lime, and just the right amount of cilantro and onion.

The chicken quesadilla was another standout dish. The quesadilla was packed with tender, well-seasoned chicken and gooey cheese, all perfectly grilled to a golden brown. Each bite was a delightful blend of textures and flavors. My husband also loved his burrito and mentioned the perfect balance of spice and flavor.

The environment at Condesa was also noteworthy. The space was an inviting atmosphere that was perfect for socializing. The decor was vibrant and authentic, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience.

Sorry. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. as this isn’t worth a your time or money. 😔 🇲🇽 Decor is fun and inviting (bluish light all over the restaurant—sorry for bad light on the photos) but the food is sadly and consistently below average and quite expensive, too. We paid about $200 for 2 kids meals, 2 adult meals, and 2 adults drinks and a guacamole, which was candidly the worst and blandest guac either of us have ever had; it was almost entirely mashed avocado—missing sufficient (or maybe any) salt, no lime, no cilantro, little onions (basically tasteless). Service was fine but not good. Even at half the price, it would still get an equally bad rating. The chips looked good but tasted okay and salsa below average. The drinks were syrupy. Missing Besito in Chestnut Hill, which closed last year. It was priced similarly but far superior quality food and service. Go visit El Pelon or Tenoch or some of the Waltham taco shops for 1/8 the price and far better food.

Disappointed is my word. We waited some time for someone to come serve us even though the restaurant was rather empty. The space is nicely decorated. Before ordering any apps I asked if the corn was on the cob or not, she said on the cob and then I asked how many pieces etc.. and we got served a bowl of street corn. Still good but I prefer on the cob which is why I asked. Our drinks were delicious and the only good part about this experience. I read so many great reviews and my food did not meet those expectations. It was nothing special and a waste of money. Our food was also rather cold. We did have to say something because it seemed as they wrapped up ingredients that were sitting around but never ran it through the oven to warm or anything. Overall I do not recommend this place.
