Very well done, as usual. PROS: Concrete, euro gap, flat rail, hand rail, minor transition, coping on the giant quarter, space for a game of SKATE. CONS: parking in the new, compact shopping plaza can make parking time-consuming and annoying. The park is small, much smaller than I expected and some sections transition too fast due to space. Overall, it’s a nice park created by a solid team of shredders. Melow and small scattered with a few reeling qualities. If you want to skate vert, skip. Grinds: yes Flow: No Still, it blows the park that used to be there out of the water.

I love walking around this park it also opens up to the street where you can park or walk down to walk along the river. Great place for family playground equipment baseball field soccer field’s lotta things to do at this place.

Classic park that has seen better days. Basketball courts are good to ride around but the Woodward features are pretty beat.

The new playground here is phenomenal!

It's set back in nice wooded landscaping and feels very "natural"

The main structure has a huge climbing web up to a very long tube slide. Around it's base there's a small climbing wall and various obstacles. Nice sandbox with two diggers. A few smaller structures throughout the playground for younger kids. Also a merry go round, a zipline, and some sensory toys. The splash pad is nice, especially with the rubber ground.

There are plenty of benches and lots of shady spaces. Next to the playground is a large picnic area with 6 tables and a few charcoal grills.

There's a water fountain + bottle filler right next to the splash pad.

There is a nice parking lot and Arsenal yards parking decks are a short walk.

It's not quite perfect though. There are only 2 swings, 2 infant swings, and 1 basket swing. The playground can support a lot of kids at once buy not on the swings.

Also there are no bathrooms in the playground area. There might be some next to the baseball fields but I didn't walk down there to find out.

Overall I'd...

Renter beware

So I rented this playground for my daughters 5th birthday. The process to rent is not horrible the basic print the form off line ,fill it out and submit and then pay. Once you arrive you are responsible to tell people to move off the bench (that does not go over well) then you have these other people who are having parties at the same time requesting you and your guests to not use the public play areas, & then my favorite was the family who rented our table after us and came 45 mins early and told me to move. The recreation department should work on a better system. Especially for the...

I’m writing specifically about the skate park. My husband and I are new skateboarders and we’re really disappointed in the maintenance and cleanliness of the skate park, tennis, and squash courts (all next to each other). With all the construction, the community is merely an afterthought - dirt everywhere, huge cracks with grass growing out of them, rocks, food and other trash on the ground, etc. I’m so grateful to have a skate park near my home but the maintenance is just terrible. I truly hope that the caretakers of the park take their commitment to the community...
