Grebe's — Attraction in Wausau

(Part 2) After 3 months of expressing my frustration, I had my husband use the Speed Queen for himself so he could see first hand what a horrible job the Speed Queen does. Sure enough, he was shocked to see the clothes he put in the wash looked just as dirty as before he washed them. He then called Grebe's to have a technician come look at it because we knew something was wrong with it. Yesterday an employee of Grebes came to look at it, but he insured us that nothing is wrong with the washer, it is just how those new models are. We were absolutely astounded. With such a credible reputation of Speed Queen, we couldn't believe that this is the quality we paid so much money for! Mind you, it's a way smaller capacity than the GE one we have and does not wash clothes nearly as good. We went to Grebes yesterday right after the technician left our house so we could see what Grebes would do about this issue. They did absolutely nothing! They said it's been too long since we purchased it, and that they don't take back washing machines if they have been "used". Please tell, how are you supposed to know if a washing machine works without using it?! And it's not like it's been years, it's only been 3 months, we bought it in July!!! And honestly, I was trying to give it a chance to work correctly, hence why I was trying so many different things/ detergents etc. I thought for sure it was something I was doing wrong, because of all of the great things I've heard about Speed Queens. But no, it's these new models that are terrible washers. They barely move or agitate the clothes. Therefore all of the stuff just sits on the clothes and comes out just as dirty as when you put them in. I do 100% of the laundry and my husband works everyday, so it's very hard to get him to look at the washing machine for himself. But when I finally made him run a load for himself. He was shocked to see that his clothes he put in didn't come out clean at all, they looked just as dirty as when he put them in. That was when he called the technician to come look because there is no way we are going to pay that much money for something to not work well. We cannot believe that Grebe's doesn't stand by their products or do anything to make this situation right. They said we would have to contact Speed Queen, which we did immediately after leaving Grebes, and of course Speed Queen won't do anything because it's not technically "broken"..... It's just a shitty washing machine! I honestly wish we would have just bought second GE washer and not the Speed Queen. At least I can fit more clothes in the GE and it actually washes them. But no, we spent way more money trying to get a quality product and it turned out to be a horrible washer. Extremely disappointed with how Grebes treated us. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere! They don't care about selling you crappy products and couldn't care less about trying to...

I own four Stihl chainsaws that have treated me well so when a friend of mine was looking I suggested he buy a Stihl from Grebe's. I also bought a Gravely lawn mower and Troy bilt tiller there and was quite happy with them and the sales department. My friend had a Poulan that was wore out and wanted a better grade of saw. He bought a Stihl ms271, the very first time he used it he cut a small 4" diameter branch. After that it would not work... He took it back to Grebe's and they took it apart and called him, the person who called was very rude and short he said " it was operator error that he left the chain brake on". I can tell you none of my four saws will turn the chain if the brake was on so I find that hard to believe. Also my friend had another saw with a brake and knows what he was doing. Either this thing was made wrong or adjusted wrong. The only thing I could think of is if the engine was set to run to high on start up and he followed Stihl's procedure of leaving the brake on when starting the saw. After talking to my friend I suggested he call Stihl direct. He was transferred to Warranty department. The person he talked to was very rude and unprofessional. He also blamed the operator. My friend had Grebe's repair the saw he waited two weeks and didn't receive any phone calls or updates. He called and they were quite rude and didn't have parts yet. It took over a month to get the saw repaired.... They never called, my friend had to call for every update. Today he picked up the saw talked to the sales staff, service staff, and owner. He gave them all a chance to make things right. The owner was also rude and told him " he needs to pay his guys too". He ended up paying $316.10 to get his new saw repaired and be treated very poor. My friend and I are both in the service industry and know there are many better ways this could of been handled.

Its sad to say but not only did Grebe's lose out on my next purchase of a pole saw but we are only in our 20s and 30s and they lost decades of future sales from my friend and I and...

(Part 1) Extremely disappointed and frustrated with Grebe's customer service. We will no longer be giving them our business. We have purchased two washing machines from them this year. The first one we purchased was a GE and we absolutely love it! It has a large capacity and washes the clothes really well. We wanted two washing machines as our family is large, and we do a ton of laundry. The second washing machine we decided to bite the bullet and buy a Speed Queen knowing what a reputable brand they are and how awesome their washing machines are. The day my husband went in to purchase the Speed Queen, there was only one model in stock and it was the floor model. It was of course more expensive than the other models of Speed Queen we would have chosen, but we went ahead and purchased the more expensive one thinking that it would be a great washing machine and last a long time. After doing a few loads in the washing machine, it became apparent that the Speed Queen was not washing clothes properly. I tried all different cycles, tried doing really small loads, different detergents, and it doesn't matter, it does NOT wash clothing properly. You can remove an article of clothing after it's ran through the wash and it does not even look like it's been washed! So I end up having to wash it a second time in our other washer, the GE. I mentioned this to my husband several times, but he said I must be doing something wrong. So I've tried countless different detergents and different methods of washing over the last 3 months, hoping that it would start washing better... but still, it had not improved, and I end up not using our Speed Queen at all, out of complete frustration. I've been having to go to a laundromat since my laundry has been piling up not being able to use my Speed Queen at home. And go figure, they have Speed Queens at the laundromat that work SO...
