This is an amazing effort for Wausau to bring forth this children’s park. It is a wonderful idea. We had a great time but I see the need for some kind of supervision from someone in the park division. There were unruly smart mouth pre teen boys running. swearing, and getting smart with me an adult. I informed them I would call the law. It will get worse if not dealt with. Sorry Wausau these teens don’t care about the small children that were there. There where no Parents there for these out of control teens to answer to.

It was such a great place to visit. My kids love climbing up into the structure! Located right along the river, and just next to the bridge. Just under the bridge is a workout area! A place to walk, visit, play, and just have fun. Or to enjoy a great workout with impeccable scenery! I wish every community could have something like this! We will definitely be back!

This is one of the nicer parks I have taken my daughter. Not too much to do though for younger kids. Luckily my 2 year is fearless. I would say the biggest issue we had was a bathroom not being there. A hour drive then not having a bathroom is a lot for a two year old. Still had a bunch of fun though.

This is a great park for everyone. There is so much to do!

If your looking for a spot to just relax then take a seat at one of the many benches along with pathway or under one of the shade sail spots. They also have bikes you can rent to take a ride along the beautiful riverside.

The kids will enjoy walking on the "sky walk," sliding down the giant slide on one end or climbing on the big web on the other end.

Try not to get dizzy while spinning on one of the several spinning toys .

They have an area for older kids and adults to work out. Each piece of equipment has info on how to use it and what area of your body is getting a workout. There is an app you can download to give you pointers for your workout at specific location as well help you find other similar locations.

There is a fun obstacle course as well where you can use the app and compete against other kids or just get through it as fast as you can. Don't forget to push the button before you begin and again when you finish to keep track of your time.

The only complaint is that there is no shade inside the play area for the most part and the toys and benches get very HOT!!

If your looking for even more to do as a family it is right next to WOW fun zone that has fun inside family entertainment.

Last but not least don't forget to get an ice-cream treat at Briqs before you leave. You may just have to try their famous "One...

Great for bigger kids to play 7+ on a variety of climbing equipment. We found it lacking in an area for smaller kids to enjoy who don't have the upper body strength to climb the many obstacles. The work out course was unique but aimed at older kids/ young adults. My oldest loved it, my youngest was sad he couldn't do alot of the play equipment without struggling. Not wheel chair, special needs, or under 5 child friendly ( many potential falling hazards) the design of this play area is technically impressive and architecturally unique, it is worth checking out. There are plenty of areas to picnic and enjoy the river...
