Used to be really nice 5 star park. Great place for younger kids. However, this winter the playground's rubber turf took a beating. Large holes and bunched up areas sticking up several inches are everywhere, which present a significant trip hazard. It needs replacement.
The splash pad is very popular with kids in summer, it's a great feature, though it could use a good pressure washing of the concrete on a semi regular basis as the immediatly surrounding area gets moldy and very slippery from the constant water.

Read moreNice place to take the kids and relax.. plenty of space to picnic and roofed buildings to have family parties. You have to get a permit and pay a small fee but it's definitely worth it. There is alot of playground equipment and it has the rubber ground matting around it. There is a newer bathroom. However, I wish it was cleaned more often especially in the summer months. The kids love the waterpark. It's a little small but it's free and you can't beat that to get cooled off on a hot day. Only knock is people need to clean up better after themselves but this problem almost exists anywhere you go...
Read moreLots of trash cans and benches/tables. There is plenty of shade available but the entire playground is sunny so you will want SPF on the kids. Public restrooms which I have never been in so I can't speak to that. The drinking fountain was not working when we were there last. The Splash Pad is awesome and is open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day. Fun playground equipment and a disability friendly swing with a buckling harness. Nice shaded walking paths.
