Fresh Choice Food Center — Attraction in Wayne

I'm not writing a review about fresh choice but I had to comment on a review left by DIANA who seems to think that people who get assistance with a food card don't care what they spend and use it irresponsibly. But yet turns around and points out that most of the people who shop there are limited in other resources such as a vehicle or financially unable to use things like Uber. So which is it Diana? Are they out there just spending willy nilly? Burning thru your tax dollars? Or are they seniors and low income who don't have a choice but to shop there? And what makes you think that they don't pay taxes or haven't in the past? I hope you never find yourself in a situation where you need assistance temporarily. If this upsets you why not go to the actual source of the problem because you also touched on that. The store knows they have an advantage over the people who have to shop there and instead of having fair prices, competitive sure but not as they are. Why not bring attention to the people and sources who might be able to do something about it? Even just a call to the local paper and bring it to their attention. Maybe instead of just complaining and talking so negatively about people you know nothing about. Try to make...

Its actually more expensive compared to Walmart/Kroger/Meijer ($80 for 11items including canned food & im buying for myself🤦🏾‍♂️ This only lasted me 3 days) and I will NEVER buy meat from here again. The meat looks "fresh" but taste so very badly. Alot of their meats have been thawed and then refrozen and then thawed again in the supermarkets refrigerators. You can tell by the texture and taste of the meat. I thought my first buy was a fluke. That even though I've cooked this particular meal several times prior, I must've did something wrong with my meat, although I cook it the same way every single time. I attempt a 2nd time and I can't even complete my meal because of how bad the meat tasted and the texture of it magically being completely different than when I buy at literally every other grocers. I'll honestly never return again and will stick to the Top 3. They value quantity over quality at this...

Always have liked this store. Especially for the meat selection. But tonight my husband and I went in there and were treated with so much disrespect. We got to the check out and the cashier refused to check us out because my husband wasn't wearing a mask. The other cashier wouldn't either. We had to talk to the manager and he checked us out and was very polite and kind. Kudos to him! The cashiers on the other hand were asking for PRIVATE medical papers to prove he had a medical condition, which is illegal. Also they were riling up other customers so they would verbally attack us. At least, these cashiers should be written up or fired, for all I care.... you don't disrespect customers and your manager like that. Don't know if we will ever come back here, and I will be logging a complaint with the manager tomorrow. What a way to...
