🖤 CD Douglas and Alicia Doresey — True Champions of Student Success at Wayne State College
I can’t say enough about how much CD Douglas and Alicia Doresey have meant to me during my time at Wayne State College. Their support went far beyond the usual “student services” — they genuinely care about each person who walks through their doors.
CD has been a steady source of guidance, always listening patiently and offering thoughtful advice tailored to my struggles and goals. It’s rare to find someone in a busy college setting who takes the time to see you as a whole person, not just a student ID number — but CD does exactly that.
Alicia’s kindness and encouragement have been like a light during some of my toughest moments. She has this way of making you feel seen and understood, and her dedication to helping students navigate challenges is inspiring. Her support helped me stay focused and motivated when things felt overwhelming.
Together, CD Douglas and Alicia Doresey create an environment where students aren’t just pushed through the system — they are truly supported, uplifted, and empowered. Because of their care and dedication, I’ve been able to overcome obstacles I never thought I could.
Wayne State College is lucky to have them. If you’re a student struggling to find your path, they’re the ones who will help you find it.

Materials provided is limited to hardcopy and the use of laptop devices in class creates a competition against the campus bookstore so not getting one from WSC for enhancement is out of the questions for no logical(who cares if student have to pay at the bookstore, students needs upgrades). The use of electronic or hard copy, is not included in tuition. I didn't know, the system was first level processing to get you in but if your income is in the upper middle and higher class with hidden resources from family's, then this is the band wagon school and it's really feasible, and if you are even smart and have great researching skill... you will be fine. Other than that, be advice WSC is either a sacrifice or a gift. Thank you, learning is a experience and a punishment. Your risk, when there are no upgrades for self advancement. Stay away from parties because drugs effect your...
