Lee Fong Park — Attraction in Weaverville

I visit Lee Fong for the Disc Golf Course. The course is for the most part well maintained. The main park is almost always green, even when the dry times of the year. As in any park these days, you will encounter some homeless, and for the most part, they respect to play of disc golf and other Park users. Not much at the park except for the frisbee golf course. A few barbecue pits and a smaller gazebo and amphitheater. Looks like there used to be a pretty bad homeless problem as there is trash near the river and near the hilly sections. Looks like there's been a recent effort to clear out these homeless areas as there were piles of brush and trash everywhere. Overall, not a bad part, just need some cleanup and maybe a few...

Lee Fong Park has really improved in the past two years. The ground are kept well and they have a very challenging disc golf course. I go there because it's never really crowded, and it's a great place to fly my drone, and an even better location to play my Cajon (hand drums) in the amphitheater.
