The second best Dive Bar in California outside of toots Tavern in Crockett California. If you're a wrestling fan get your ice cold beer served by bartender and famous professional wrestler, "Mike Modest". The prices are reasonable, a fraction of the cost compared to bars in the bay area. The bartenders are professional and personable and really know how to pour a good drink. The atmosphere is "Back-woods-gitchy" with lots of interesting artifacts displayed in the most unusual manner. There is a professional level pool table. Great bar. Good service, good selection, friendly but not overbearing service. Benn was a pleasure to interact with and made my friends and I (obviously not locals to Weaverville) feel welcome at his bar.

Side note, I just love ordering a beer and getting an iced mug for it. Something you don’t see as often, but it’s a nice touch that makes the drink that much more refreshing. Definitely a place worth...

I love this place, but I'm a local. I don't go out too much, but if you want a nice stiff drink, play a little pool, and sit back, and watch some riffraff, this place might be for you. Doesn't happen all the time, most of us conversate and keep to ourselves. There's cards, dice, and cribbage.. I think, though you might want to check and see. They serve...
