Nice gym and 5 stars to the excellent trainer——Nancy! I have been with her for almost a year, and I absolutely recommend her to anyone.
She has great personality and she gave me new challenges in every session. My body totally transformed: My postpartum fat reformed into lovely muscles, haha! With more energy and happier mind, which is exactly what I need.
How does the session like? She welcomed me either in the front desk or the area that we are going to work out. All the equipments or tools were already set up, ready to use. She used custermized workout sheet that she created and everything went just very smoothly.
What I found her method different from my previous trainer is, that she emphasizes balance: I had a lot of exercises on BOSU, which is like standing on a half ball to lift weight, very helpful for body balance(I actually ski better, I think it’s because of it). And when working out one part of muscle, the next muscle that we are going to work on must be the part that balance the previous one. And also she explained how the movements work for the specific muscle very well.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful People of all ages work out and seem comfortable there. There is plenty of cardio equipment, machine-assisted weight-training machines and free weights. I have never had to wait to use anything and have been there at all times of the day and evening. I have belonged to many gyms over the years, and this is by far the best. While I prefer the Wellesley location because it is the most convenient and newest, BHAC membership allows use of all the BHAC locations without additional charge. And the price is right!    Read moreThis gym is exactly what I was looking for! Pros: clean, unintimidating, friendly, convenient, and the morning classes are a wonderful way to stay in shape (strength plus cardio). All I do is show up and let the dedicated instructors show the way... The crowd is friendly and supportive. Cons: limited classes throughout the day/evening (but honestly, for my schedule, this is just motivation to get my morning workout in and perhaps this keeps costs down and class quality good.)
