Old School Italian Pizzeria — Restaurant in Wellesley

The cheese pizza was okay, I've had it twice. The chicken broccoli alfredo was terrible. I couldn't get past three bites, and I really tried. I don't like to waste food. The original/plain chicken tenders (no sauce) were tasteless, although I could see that some black pepper was sprinkled on it. I thought it would be more seasoned like other places since there wasn't a sauce coating it. I've given this restaurant four tries already. If you want something to eat here, I would recommend the pizza.

Old School makes pizza that could contend with the best of New York. The dough is crisp and doesn't flop and the cheese and sauce are well ratio'd and flavorful. The restaurant, while not having as many decorations as it used to, has a unique atmosphere and many retro posters and trinkets. Only complaints are that they generally take about 10 minutes longer on the cook time estimate, and for being a pizza restaurant of their caliber they close the box completely which can negatively affect texture. Honestly I don’t do reviews but in this case I had to. I’m new to the area and was craving pizza but not many places deliver to my work. I ordered over the phone and everything was delivered and time and easy as could be. The pizza is as advertised: old school Italian and it is excellent.
