Very instructor dependent on the type of workout. Club Pilates is very expensive for what you get. No open gym time, no online class access, and classes geared to those with mid-day availability. But still makes you feel good and stretched out for before over after work.

Extremely disappointing and a total waste of money. I booked a Level 1.5 class intentionally, knowing it would be way below my fitness level—but it was the only way to get evaluated and potentially approved for more challenging classes like Level 2 or 2.5. I was fully prepared to throw away $40 just to get through this gatekeeping process.

I take advanced Pilates regularly at Lifetime, Equinox, and with private instructors in both LA and NYC, so I know what I’m doing. I made it clear from the start that I was only there to be evaluated, and asked to be observed. The class was led by Jill, and frankly, the session was insultingly basic. For me, it felt like an extremely light stretch session—not even close to a workout.

After the class, Jill told me I couldn’t be approved for more advanced levels because my posture was “off” and I was too hypermobile. She also claimed I wasn’t picking up her cues fast enough—again, it’s my first time taking a class with her, so obviously I wouldn’t instantly adapt to her teaching style. That’s a ridiculous standard.

I followed up with the manager, hoping for some kind of resolution—and all she offered was for me to spend another $40 to take a different class with a different instructor and “maybe I’ll like it more.” So the solution is: waste $80 and hope for the best? No customer service, no credit, no flexibility. Just pay again and maybe it’ll work out.

This whole setup feels more like a scammy business model than a fitness studio. The arrogance, the gatekeeping, and the complete lack of customer accommodation are staggering. Save your money and go somewhere that treats experienced clients with even a baseline...

I accidentally showed up an hour early for class and didn’t know it. I thought I had accidentally signed up for a 1.5 class. When I got there, It was a 1.5 class as Jill started taking about the chair. I quickly went to the front desk, asked if this was a 1.5 class and told the girl I hadn’t taken a 1.5 or used the chair before. I asked if I should leave and she said no since I had done over 100 1 level classes. I told Jill and she set up the chair for me. Many of the moves were new to me and I tried to mirror the girl next to me. Jill came by a few times and adjusted me but I could tell she was frustrated having to do it. When the class was over, I went to throw out my sani wipes from wiping down the equipment and Jill just looked at me and said, “you need to stay at 1. You don’t have the mechanics down to do a 1.5”. Was dismissive, condescending and walked away. It was upsetting and there was a kinder way to communicate. I don’t know how someone goes from level 1 to 1.5 since the moves are totally different. I will never take another class by Jill., in fact I cancelled 2 level 1 classes I was signed up for with her as the instructor. All the other instructors I have had...

Avoid this place at the beginning! Unfair treatment to customers and differentiate customers with different purchase power. I was late for 3 minutes for intro and was told that I can’t join. At the time that I saw classmates just walked to their position. The lady told me that this is the policy which is apparently not by the lady as I went to Framingham club Pilates last week and they let all the people in. At that time I thought it was just strict policy in this location. Then the lady at front desk immediately changed the topic and start to persuaded me to sign up for classes directly and start to introducing all their packages without letting me attend the intro. Ironically, when I ask what if I’m late for actual classes, they said they will make exceptions occasionally if not “frequent”. It’s stupid that they refused me at the beginning then make exceptions to sell the packages haha. It’s also ridiculous that customers paying for the classes and they use their power to determine who can go in who cannot in the same late situation with fake policy made by themselves haha. I’m even glad that it happens at intro so I wouldn’t get into a situation of being discriminated...
