Lux Bond & Green — Attraction in Wellesley

We have always received excellent and courteous guidance and help at Lux, Bond, and Green. We began going when younger for simple jewelry fixes after looking at a few other stores in Wellesley/Boston and noticing LBG's grand opening. The staff at LBG were so kind and respectful -- as they still are today two decades later. They provide honest and trustworthy guidance to ensure a gift or investment is meaningful and well chosen. Their product selection is quite vast, and we have found their curations to be the highest quality. When ring shopping, we looked at major and smaller jewelers in Boston, Zurich, and London. Nothing compared to the customized approach and superior stone offerings LBG was able to source.

In the last 6 years, we have worked with Alex at the Wellesley location in particular. Alex is attentive, very knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. He helped us with a complex custom diamond jewelry order that came out better than we could have ever imagined. Alex has a strong understanding of diamonds and provides excellent guidance. It is always a treat to see Alex and catch up with him.

Going to LBG is more like going to a trusted friend to celebrate life's significant milestones versus simply going to a store. They have been there for us at virtually every step of life, including the first gifts bought while dating to our engagement ring, wedding registry, holiday gifts, baby earrings, and now beyond to our full family. With the wedding registry, LBG held our gifts until we wished to bring them to a new home. This was so helpful in between moves.

Recently I had mentioned to a friend of mine, Tony, that I was thinking about purchasing a particular watch. He mentioned that I should give Lux Bond & Green in Wellesley, Ma. a call and ask for Alex. This friend mentioned he had been dealing with Alex and it was the best experience he had ever had dealing with a sales associate in a jewelry store. I took the information, but never made a call. One day, approx. 1 month I received a call from Alex at Lux Bond & Green. He told me that Tony had phoned him and mentioned my interest in the watch. He told the watch had come in, and if I wanted it, it was mine. I was stunned and immediately drove to the store. Tony was not exaggerating. It was a pleasure dealing with Alex. He was polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the watch and other products he had in the store. I thought I was going overboard asking questions, but he took the time to answer every one of them, I never felt rushed in the least. I could not have been more satisfied with the experience. As to the store itself, it was clean, thoughtfully laid out, and conforming to all the Covid precautions. It is in an excellent location. If you are in the market for one of the watches they sell, or any jewelry, as they had a very nice selection, I highly recommend you give this store a try. My suggestion would be to ask for Alex. However, another customer was speaking with a different sales associate and was getting the same personal attention that I was, so I can imagine the entire staff...

We highly recommend Lux Bond & Green. Our first impression when we visited their Wellesley location, it was a beautiful area and parking was immediate and has been each time we have been. When we entered the store they had hand sanitizer available and on all their counters. We noticed all staff had face masks on and kept a safe distance making us feel safe. Then we were greeted from a soft spoken gentleman named Alex Jalali that offered us a drink. He made us feel comfortable and welcomed making our experience a wonderful one. Our relationship has grown tremendously and because of Alex we are loyal customers for life. We then met a woman named Nancy Haas who introduced herself and we hit it off immediately. At this point we knew Nancy and Alex love their job. It showed by the way we were treated. It wasn't until our fourth visit did we find out Nancy was the Manager. What impressed us most about her was her professionalism , never tried to stand out and made everyone equal.
