West Bend Farmers Market — Attraction in West Bend

I love it here... I never know what I might see but I rarely leave empty handed. In my opinion, this makes West Bend feel more like a community.

FUN FACT... There is even an "old lady" who people refer to as "the dog natzi." I was warned by several booth operators to "watch out for the dog natzi"... Remember your dog is allowed on the sidewalk but don't you dare try to walk in the street. Even if you are just crossing. Not joking btw. The truth is she is nice but is in my view "comically focused" on people with dogs never crossing the street. Hilarious. 😉 😆

So not perfect... but perfectly imperfect I suppose. I seriously do enjoy this...

Normally I would give this market 5 stars. It is my favorite place to go on a Saturday morning. However today it was shocking to see that very very few people including merchants wearing masks in spite of the large number of people there. It was packed, elbow to elbow without regard to the pandemic that is happening. Evidently no one from the West Bend health department visits this market. It is a sad statement that the large majority of people have to be told by the government to protect others and...

It's a nice thing to do to get out of the house, is definitely busy. Produce is a little more pricey then I'm used to from farmers markets, I've been going down 60 to get produce for half the price of all the stands there. I primarily have been going just for the homemade dog treats and to see if there is anything new. Definitely does not follow COVID guide lines, as it is pretty packed, and I'm not to much of a fan that I'm not allowed to bring my dog to...
