Lily Pad Springs — Attraction in West Bloomfield Township

When you read the description of Lily Pad Springs on its web site it says it's the largest water pad in Michigan. Not sure what they are basing this on? When we drove up the kids thought I went to the wrong spot, where exactly is the largeness? There are 3 slides, nothing large tho, the water bucket is 55 gallons, most range much much higher. There was plenty of seating for adults who are there to watch and not get wet. The small toddler children were having the time of their life, I brought 2 12 year old boys, they had fun but a bit disappointed in the size and lack of activities for older kids. The staff were very friendly, the pad was clean and bathrooms were close to pad and very clean as well. If you have toddlers I would highly recommend. I am a non resident and I took my 3 year old on a Saturday at 4pm. I purchased tickets ahead of time. The two tickets were $7 each. If you’re a resident, tickets are only $4 each. We arrived 15 minutes early to the 2 hour session and waited till they let us in the park. We were able to secure a bench seat because we weren’t stuck waiting in the ticket line. I highly recommend arriving early and pre-purchasing tickets because there are a limited amount of benches and tables. I think this splash pad is great for toddlers and young children but older kids will get bored quickly. The bucket dumps water every 45 seconds so getting drenched is unavoidable if you’re going to go down the slides with your kids. This is a very safe and affordable family-friendly splash pad. It's $4 for residents and $7 for non-residents for a 2-hour session. I purchased my tickets online when I arrived I received them with no hassle from a very professional staff member at the.There's plenty of seating and tables to put your things so they won't get wet while you and the kiddos get soaked. The bathrooms were equipped with a changing table and a car seat like chair which I thought was super convenient for moms small children. They also had plenty of parking.
