Mystique Hair Studio — Local services in West Bloomfield Township

This was my very first visit to Mystique. I booked a consult with Bora to discuss my blonde hair, its condition, and the plan to return it to a healthy pretty blonde. I spoke with the lovely lady at the counter when I arrived, filled in the necessary info on the iPad, and was offered a beverage or snacks while I waited a very short time to meet Bora. When Bora was finished with her client she came to me in the chair and went over what she would like to do with my hair. She was honest, and nice and said exactly what needed to be done. Then she offered If I had time, to get started on our path to healthy hair today with a Selora treatment, I responded sure. I went back to the counter and pre-paid for 4 treatments to be done over one year. The salon was very clean, all things in their place and everyone smiling. When Nicole washed my hair, she gave an amazing neck massage, and scalp massage, adjusted the water to the perfect temp, and chatted with me about the treatment, what it would do, how to use the at-home products, and how I was going to love how my hair will feel. Nicole also recommended a great wet brush; don't recall the name but it worked well. I look forward to my next visit on the 19th when Bora will be doing some color adjustments. Personally, I have been using the Selora product line for approximately 2 months and I can honestly say that my hair feels so much better. I cannot recommend Bora and her team at Mystique enough. From the moment I walked into the door to the moment I left, I felt so welcomed at the salon. All of the stylists and other employees were so kind, always asking if I needed anything, answering all of my questions, etc. Bora did an incredible job on my hair. She makes sure to give the customer what they want while not damaging their hair in the process. As a result, Bora said I should return in 6 months to 1 year. As a reference, other salons told me I would need a touch-up about every 3 months . Additionally, my hair has never felt or looked healthier. When asking about what products I should buy, she only made sure to recommend what I needed. I would even ask if I needed a certain product and she would say no and explain why. The entire experience was unlike any salon visit I have experienced before. Yes, the prices are higher than what other salons I looked at charged. However, you truly do get what you pay for.
