The lady at the register is not friendly. My order was tied up in the bag before I arrived so I did not check my food prior to departure. I wish I had ripped it open and looked before I left. I ordered extra garlic spread on my chicken shawarmas, there wasn't much spread on my sandwiches at all. I ordered a large tabouli, they only gave me 4 pieces of bread, and one of them burnt. I would have ordered more bread if I knew they're only four pieces in there. They charge $1.50 for little condiment size cups of garlic spread and they don't fill it to the top. The grape leaves and baba ganoush tasted good and the tabouli was good and fresh. The chicken shawarma was a bit dry and disappointing. I considered giving them three stars but dropped it to two after tasting the fresh pita bread. It was bland. Pita Cafe is a better choice.

Makes me so sad to have to rate this a one star, because of one bad experience but I have to. EVERY single piece of pita bread had mold on it! I’ve had this place before I hope I wasn’t eating moldy pita bread before and didn’t see because of poor lighting! Makes me concerned about the other food now. Every single piece was like below. 2 different kinds of mold. What makes me even more mad is that my young kids were reaching for the pita and I grabbed it first, thank god, because they would have ate the whole thing and gotten sick. I called and told them and the guy did apologize but didn’t even ask me which pita or anything? I know they serve 2 different kinds. I spend over $100 for moldy pita. We will be finding a new place to eat.

This review is only for the dinner we had tonight and is NO way a reflexion of regular service at this restaurant. We arrived around 8pm for dinner. The server was female and extremely abrupt and rude the entire time The side plates bought out were dirty, we informed the server, and she said that "only 1 was dirty, the other were not, but that shell get new plates." The other r2 plates were obviously not wiped down or something because there was a bunch of sticky watermarks on them She forgot to bring out part of our order, and Brough it out later when we reminded her (which was fine) She had a bad attitude the entire time serving us, and we overheard her telling the table behind us to "read the menu when they were confused about things on the menu" She took away a bowl of soup that had 2 spoonfuls left just as one of us was able to dip something in it, and when we informed her of the situation (obv nicely), she freaked out and said we were lying and to "roll the cameras" and that there was nothing in the soup -I haven't felt THIS OFFENDED in a restaurant before, I was too shocked to tell her to not lift the bowl when it was happening. When we went up to pay she kept yelling that "she doesn't care." First off, I can afford to pay my dinner and would never say that to someone (let alone someone in the service industry) unless it actually happened. I was telling her everything in a reasonable tone (I felt I was pretty polite), and she responded with rudely yelling.

I'm just stunned this happened at one of my favorite restaurants, and my family has literally been coming to this place for 20 years. The food was not as good as it usually is (but I honestly didn't care after having awful service.) Just so...

went hear with a couple friends, 6 to bee exact, and the food was alright i guess, if thats all that matters in a restaurant. THE SERVICE HOWEVER, now THAT was horrible, OK. we asked to pay the bill separately between the 6 of us and they denied us this. they never told us that we were considered a "party" until i asked to split the bill. because some of us only had cards to pay with which altogether, caused a chaotic meltdown, to say the least. we sat there calculating how much each of our meals were, which was only the beginning of the problem. we did all the calculations and something wasnt right, there was an extra 15 dollars on the receipt that read "MISC". we sat there not knowing what this extra charge was and no money was next to the "gratuity" part of the receipt, it was blank. we then realized that this extra "misc" charge was the gratuity and this was never specified anywhere, not by the waiter/waitress and not anywhere in the restaurant or menu. we were going to tip separately and pay separately, which has NEVER been a problem ANYWHERE else but this restaurant made this too complicated and annoying for us so and did not do anything to make help us with such an easy fix. also the biggest thing was the fact that the "gratuity"/tip was taxed, i have never been taxed on a tip in my life. will not...

A True Taste of Lebanon - Al Oumara Restaurant

Al Oumara Restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that goes far beyond just food—it's about feeling like part of the family. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with open arms. The owner and his son are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about their guests. In fact, the owner sat down with me, shared a meal, and even made me a special drink—an experience that made me feel like I was dining with friends, not just customers.

The food is absolutely incredible, with authentic Lebanese dishes that are rich in flavor and tradition. They’ve been perfecting their recipes for over 24 years, and it shows in every bite. The olive oil, brought directly from Lebanon, is a special touch that elevates the dishes to another level. The hummus, kebabs, tabbouleh, and all their offerings are nothing short of exceptional.

The warm, inviting atmosphere, paired with traditional Lebanese music, adds to the overall experience. It's clear that Al Oumara isn’t just a restaurant; it's a place where you feel like you're at home. I can’t wait to return again and again. Al Oumara truly is second to none, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking authentic Lebanese cuisine served with a...
