We went there today for Thanksgiving. It was alright. I will give you the highs and the lowlights . NO PUMPKIN PIE???? NO CLYDE?? — the strolling musician, or any musician for that matter. At $50/pp it would be nice … he’s been there for years…he made it so special. The canned music really took away a wonderful touch that just made the day fabulous. Please bring back Clyde or someone live. Also, the dessert bar was eh. The cake was dry and some chocolate cream pie would be good, or tiramisu.. most everything was fruit. My honey needed milk for his coffee instead of half and half and the girl said “we only have the creamers” .. I said “there is no milk in the building?” She said “ No”.. i said “thank you”.. in a snotty tone … next thing I know there she comes with milk. She must have reconsidered and came to find me — I was glad as I was not pleased with her initial response. It was almost shocking lol. The turkey was kind of like On-Cor turkey and gravy instead of carved. Disappointing. The prime rib was very fatty. Ham was kinda dry. But flavor was good.. thick pieces would have been nice instead of almost shaved type spiral. My daughter was in love with the pesto salmon and my other daughter loved the bourbon tips. I liked the potatoes and squash best— great prep and flavor. My honey liked everything. I wanted to add that everyone who greeted us and waited on us, other than the coffee station girl was wonderful, kind and responsive. At least she decided to do the right thing in the end but i could have done without the initial exchange. I can imagine Thanksgiving Day at the Manor would be stressful for their employees, but she needs some training to be kind and professional. Also, the tables were too close together end to end. My honey is left handed and everyone was walking by and bumping him or hitting him in head with their stuff. Made for a less than stellar experience. I will consider going elsewhere next year. This tradition of our place for our special celebrations for years...

Read moreWe had a 4 o'clock seating time and it was around 4:45 - 5:00 before we were seated. We arrived 30 minutes early and waited and waited and waited to be seated. Here's where the frustration mounted. People who had parties of 3 6. 7.and 8 etc. We're they all came in after us (.and some other people that were frustrated) They were all seated before us.. When we finally were seated in the outside of the main room area we went to the buffet to get our food. Food looked great. Well my partner and I were waiting for gravy finally I said to my partner go ahead and have a seat I will wait for the gravy. Myself and I waited for a long time. Then went to get a slice of meat for my partner and it was told to me it will be right out. Well, again myself and others waited patiently some went and left. By the time that had arrived, my food was ice cold and my partner had had a Thanksgiving dinner basically by themselves. That was definitely not the plan for our looking so forward to our dinner celebration together. Understanding the restaurant business...
