The Stone Cobblers Counters and Cabinets — Attraction in West Boylston

We were very pleased with our experience with the folks at the Stone Cobbler. I was looking for blue quartz counter tops and was shown a sample of Mystic Blue, which was beautiful. Madonna educated us on the process and what would be needed in terms of templating and fabrication. She also had a sample of the mystic blue sent to me free of charge so that I could leverage it in picking out backsplash, paint colors, and simply showing it to family and friends. We scheduled a date for templating and the scheduler was flexible to help us meet a specific date that we needed. She rearranged some appointments to be able to accommodate our schedule. The template gentleman was professional and knowledgeable. Did I mention they came all the way to NH for us? He called me twice to let me know he had hit traffic and would be a little later than our scheduled appointment. Upon arriving he was efficient and thorough. Next we scheduled the install date and again they were accommodating to our specific schedule so that we would have counters installed by the time we were ready to move into the house we were renovating. The installers were also efficient, called to confirm they were on their way for our scheduled appointment, and installed the perfectly fabricated counters and holes for the faucet. The mystic blue is more beautiful that we could have imagined and the sparkles in it simply shine and reflect off the white subway tile backsplash that we went with. When it came time to install a dishwasher Stone Cobbler once again displayed excellent customer service and offered us an appropriate bracket to stabilize the dishwasher. Would not hesitate to recommend Stone Cobbler or to use them...

Completely botched template and installation.

First they underpriced the countertop quote, then backpedalled and raised the price (even after a written quote).

Then the installers came hours late, made an inaccurate template and installed the mis-cut piece. They had almost no experience and we're sloppy with measuring and very disorganized.

This shop is run by a rude owner and cluttered staff. What should be a simple process was botched in every direction.

A complete disappointment with no resolution offered from the owner or managers. They only shrugged their shoulders and said oh well....
