We needed to get out of the house with this quarantine but wanted to maintain safe social distancing. We ended up at Humboldt Park Boathouse duck rides. The cost was $11 for adults and $6 for children for a full hour. We took 2 separate boats but you could have put 4 on one. The park required that you wear life vest and they were sanitized for use. Our family of 4 enjoyed the ride where we paddled alongside real ducks and enjoyed the warm weather with a slight breeze while the sun was setting. Read moreThe actual beach here is small so if you're looking to hang here with a group of friends, then i'd suggest to arrive early in the day before it gets packed. The water isn't the dirtiest but it isnt the cleanest either, still decent enough to get in! Parking is free here, so if you're looking to save some cash, then this is the beach for you! Also lots and lots if grassland area for you to just lay out if the beach is too packed so you can still enjoy your day outside! It's sad because to me it's a graveyard of people who we've lost in Hummel Park with the drugs and all that.
