i dont know how this place has 4 stars. its overpriced garbage with terrible service. the teriyaki chicken was so dry it look a full minute to chew a small piece. like eating hay. the teriyaki sauce was super underwhelming and not tasty. they gave us old rice, super disappointed they had bogus rice. no sticky rice, not even hot. the sushi wasn’t fresh. based on the sogginess it was probably made in the morning in batches and the sushi was covered in a huge amount of a crunchy topping to try and hide the super mushy texture of it. the spicy miso soup was flavorless, just tasted like hot chili water, barley any tofu or substance, it was literally 99% poorly made broth. for a super tiny tiny piece of mochi was $3 probably worth $1 because of how overly frozen and little it was. the prices in general are outrageous for the quality of the food. i couldve went to china buffet and had better food there. and on top of everything the service is terrible, because there was none. the servers are some of the most oblivious and inattentive servers ive seen in a long time. all their attention being consumed by to-go orders we ended up with horrible service. its a shame and not worth your money. never going back until chef Ramsey himself turns that...
Read moreI've ordered delivery from Zoku for years and for the most part, it has been quite good. When they raised their prices, I stayed as a customer because I knew that supply chains were stretched thin and profit margins were being squeezed. When they switched away from their own delivery and went with a service and delivery prices significantly increased, I still stuck by them. But this latest order has me rethinking my loyalty. I ordered the Pad See Ew, which I've had several times before. This time, there was not a single whole noodle in sight - nothing but tiny little overcooked pieces of noodle. No sauce - it had all been absorbed by the overcooked noodle fragments. It was essentially flavorless and very oily. It went into the compost bin. I also ordered the unagi roll - my favorite. Unlike in the past, the roll was much smaller. I also ordered the seaweed salad. It was the smallest portion I've ever received - it did not even fill the bottom of the container and it usually was a good amount. I really hope this is a fluke, I have been quite a fan of Zoku in the past and have introduced many friends to it. I'll give it one more try, but I fear that with prices up and quantity and quality of food down, Zoku may have...
Read moreI have ordered delivery about five times and the last one was disappointing. I asked for no cucumbers due to allergies but they still put them on my food so I had to toss it waste of money. My crab Rangoon arrived cold as usual so that was unpleasant. Worst of all when my driver arrived the first thing he did was deman a tip! I have no problem with tipping but not when you are rude to me and demand it. I love their caramel crunch roll and spicy tuna. How ever I must say the way the driver treated me and lack of attention to detail when it came to my allergy is enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Update To the owner that replied to say i'am out of your delivery area is an excuse, if that's the case the order should have been denied to begin with. Your driver DEMANDED a tip before handing the order over which is rude and the reason he ended up not getting the tip. I refuse to tip for poor service and customer service is a very big deal to me anyway. I have your restaurant one last chance through Uber eats in hopes that it was a fluke. There were still some errors and after seeing the way you handle a customer service issue it will definitely be the last straw. Improve customer service and don't...
