Humboldt Park is by far my favorite and most visited park in Chicago. The layout and landscaping is breathtaking. Their are so many great views of the city from all the hilly areas and couple great ponds from which you can fish and swim! There are lifeguards on duty when you are able to swim. They have an amazing baseball field that was commissioned for the Little Cubs baseball team. There are several other baseball fields and lots of open lawn to host large picnics or just kick back. They have recently added a restaurant in the central field house off Humboldt Blvd. Finally this park also hosts the annual Puerto Rican festival which attracts people from all over to enjoy music, food and people from Puerto Rican background.
