Be warned that if you buy a pillow from tempur pedic, these are final sale items and can’t be returned per their warranty even if they end up affecting your sleep in a detrimental fashion. I wasted nearly 300 dollar on pillows that I am no longer able to use because from the first week sleeping with them caused me to have headaches and neck pain. I understand that such may be the store’s policy, but if they had better faith in their product they really should be providing a better guarantee.
I went to the flagship store asking for help buying a pillow. I explained to the person working there that I am a side and back sleeper, and needed help. She went ahead and gave her recommendation, which I followed since I figured that she knows the products that are being sold. From the first night the pillow was not comfortable to sleep on. I gave it a good week of trying it out. By the end of the week I was getting headaches and back pain.
I went back to the store and told the lady that I was having trouble with the product, I asked if there is any assistance that can be provided since it’s affecting my health and my sleep. She adamantly stated that pillows are a final sale item, and when I pointed out that the pillow did not match the description she gave me at the store she defensively denied any such claims. Basically called me a liar, as if I have a reason to make up the things that people say to me.
Never again shopping at that store, I don’t even want to set foot in...
Read moreI guess they have something against young men in their store. Despite our age, we actually were looking to purchase a mattress for ourselves as we are well off and have our own apartment. This search came to a halt when we were met with a worker who assumed the worst. While viewing a top end mattress, I picked up the remote to the bed, so as to see all of its functions. Shortly thereafter, the worker, an older woman, approached me asking if I had a specific question about the remote. When I replied no, I was just looking, she proceeded to take the remote out of my hand and state that the bed was extremely expensive so I shouldn't use the remote. Keep in mind the remotes were on display so that any patron could use them. I question the quality of a product that has a high risk of breaking simply from basic use. I was insulted, shocked, and frustrated at the "quality" of service and the lack of professionalism. I'll find my mattresses elsewhere for the rest of my life. I can only attribute this behavior to ageism and...
Read moreI know I probably look very young at first glance, but I am fortunate enough to have found success early in my life. I walked in to temper pedic with my friend and we were going to buy the mattress that changes temperature for ten thousand plus dollars. I’m sure they probably have alot of teens come in and mess with stuff, but as someone actually looking to buy the mattress I was treated very poorly. As soon as my friend grabbed the display remote to simply look at its features, the worker came over, held out her hand as to take the remote, and proceeded to say “yea that’s an 18 thousand dollar mattress”. This was clearly to say she didn’t think we were legitimate customers and basically was wanting us to leave. Again I understand we look young but as someone who was about to spend nearly 20k on a mattress, I expected the worker to at least pretend to help us. I suggest seeking a different brand with a more customer...
