Winn-Dixie — Attraction in West Melbourne

Updated review..the beer/wine bar is such a classy touch. If you go into the store after 4pm most days there are several people sitting there drinking. Why not? It's cheaper drinks than going to a bar. It adds to to the whole negative atmosphere of the store to walk by them and hear some of the conversations going on there. Or to be on the other side of the store and still be able to hear the people at the bar. The fact that there are kids walking by them too does nothing to quiet them down or make them watch their language. So not only do they have a separate, very large beer and wine corner in the store with items for sale they also have a large beer and wine bar for people to come in and drink. They have a full liquor store that is attached to the grocery store too. So why is it necessary? It isn't necessary at all it's such a disappointment.

Winn Dixie was always known as the beef people but they have such a small fresh meat and seafood counter that it certainly doesn't fit as their motto for this store. They have their store sales usually from Friday-Sunday every week. Àfter the sale is over they go through the meat department and put a new label on the items that had been for sale. I've picked up several packages that have been relabeled. You can see the original price, the sale prize and the relabeled price. Often times the new label price on the package is more expensive than the original price of the pack before the sale. They need to go through the meat case better. I have passed on picking up a pack of meet because it was already turning green.

I know there are those that think it's a great store but not me. They should have just put a regular style Winn Dixie back...

If I could give zero stars I would! Months ago I went into the store and at check out the lady had accused me of stealing milk and then I showed her on my receipt that the milk was on there! I was so upset that they would accuse me at the check out after the lady watched me ring everything up and pay for hundreds of dollars worth of items. I haven’t been back in since. I decided to do an online delivery today and I got wrong items, such as coffee creamer instead of coffee. I had asked for 5 things of ramon noodles only got one! And I had ordered a bunch of items with buy one get one free and didn’t get a single item free. The whole reason people go to this store is for the deals they have! I called customer service and the lady was super awful and didn’t want to rectify the situation. Once again hundreds of dollars for what!!! I’m so angry with win Dixie that I seriously will never shop with them ever again! Seems like the stores that take care of you in this town is either Costco, Gordon’s or Walmart! I have heard nightmare stories about people being unhappy with Win Dixie just never thought I would be one of those people. I don’t usually post reviews but my experience has been nothing less...

Should have learned my lesson from previous experiences here. I came in for chobani sweet cream coffee creamer. Of course they don't stock the basic sweet cream creamer. While I'm inside I notice the Elysian Pumpkin Beer pack. I decided while I'm here to go ahead and buy it. It wouldn't ring up at the register so they sent an assistant to go check for a price. I was told to go to the customer service desk to wait as there was a line of customers waiting at the one register open. When the customer service girl came back to the counter she had no idea what I was talking about and had to remind her about the pumpkin beer. She said it shouldn't have been on the shelf and it wasn't for sale..?? I voiced my displeasure to her and asked an older lady there if there was anything they could do. She repeated it shouldn't have been on the shelf?

I tried calling the Winn Dixie customer service number but it won't accept the automated directions right now. From start to finish about 25 minutes of wasted time. If Winn Dixie reads these please check your cameras and respond...
