Tiny waiting area that's always filled with customers. No seats so everyone just stands around and moves back and forth to make way for everyone else. Employees always seem SUPER RUSHED like if they breathe for a few seconds they'll fall behind. I'm not a huge fan of these cookies; to me they seem undercooked. But my kids love them. And I'll say the coookies always look perfect and exactly as pictured on the web site.
Also not based on this visit but a previous one: NOT ALLERGY FRIENDLY. I had ordered a six-pack after a very long, stressful week and I was tired and hurried. Moments after I ordered my daughter noticed one of the cookies had peanuts in them. I told the boy behind the counter that I had made a mistake and asked if he could put the peanut one in a separate container. He said no, they weren't allowed to put them in individual boxes. I asked if he could just hand it to me and I'd put it on a napkin. He said no, they had to be presented in the box. HE KNEW THIS WAS AN ALLERGY ISSUE. so when they brought the box to show me the order, including the cookie that could make two of my children sick that was touching THREE other cookies, I took the peanut cookie out of the box and put it in my hand, and walked out. My kids couldn't eat the cookies that were touched. It took me a long time to want to go back and try again. Who doesn't try to accommodate a...
Read moreGave 2 stars because although the cookies I did order and received were good, the customer service was poor. I recently placed an order with Crumbl and was disappointed with how the situation was handled. I ordered several cookies, including some that had an additional up-charge. At the time of placing my order, those premium items were available, but when I went to pick up my order, I was told they were no longer in stock. They were substituted with regular cookies instead.
I was fine with the substitution itself, but I expected the extra charge for the unavailable items to be refunded. Unfortunately, I later learned that since I accepted the substituted cookies, the up-charge could not be refunded. I was told my only options were to either cancel the entire order or accept it as is. The staff also claimed they had explained this when I picked up the order—but that is simply not true. No one explained that accepting substitutions meant forfeiting the refund of the up-charge.
The cookies themselves were good, but the lack of transparency and unwillingness to issue a fair refund left me frustrated. Customers shouldn’t be charged extra for items that aren’t available, especially without clear...
Read moreMy daughter and I go to Crumbl when we go to Dallas or a city that has Crumbl. We are so excited we have one here. The cookies taste great! Two downsides: #1 when you order for pick up, you check in on arrival (only at time of order - can’t arrive early) #2 Your paid order could be sold out when you pick up even though cookies were available when you ordered. Crumbl needs to figure this out! My recommendation: #1 prepare web orders as they come in, so the cookies ordered will be available. #2 if customer arrives early, go ahead and allow them to check in and process the order.
Update: went to p/u cookie order and all cookies were sold out. Cookies were ready and just needed to be topped. Customers were waiting for workers to prepare them with the toppings. The workers were talking and playing (frost a cookie, talk for several minutes, play, frost cookie, talk, play). Every customer that walked in was mad and frustrated. Really not a good look for a new business to the area. Please get it...
