Our first time visiting this theater and it was a very positive experience. We were invited to attend opening night of "A Song For Coretta" by Pearl Cleage. The play was very moving and covered a lot of ground. The one act play was about 75 minutes of riviting information about Coretta Scott King and her life from the perspective of four very different black women as they interact with an interviewer and each other while waiting outside the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia to pay their reapects. The entertaining encounter became a highly emotional learning experience for everyone present, including the audience. By the end of the show, everyone in the room was singing, clapping and wondering where the time went! The theater space is very unique in that it could be utilized in a variety of ways. I've included a photo of the sparce yet effective set depicting the exterior of the church where the action takes place. The ensemble cast gave a performance that was moving, emotional and informative. Dialog on a whole was clear and understandable. My only complaint was with the sound quality of the video opening. The speakers sounded like they were out of phase and way too small to fill a room that size with any kind of decent sound. It definitely took me out of the moment and fortunately didn't last very long. All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening and look forward to seeing more productions here in the future.

I just hosted an Open Mic there and it was a great time. It was the first open mic today August 31st. And I enjoyed it a lot we only had like five acts and we did good. I would recommend this place if you are trying to meet new people and take a class on The improv or acting. Hopefully there will be comedy classes soon.

I had the great experience of performing here. It's a lovely theater, I definitely hope to perform there again. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bob Carter himself who welcomed us with open arms and made our time there memorable.

I spent some time taking classes with Bob, and the man lives up to the legend! My favorite thing was his determination to help you train and prepare for roles. Whether it was extra time after classes, answering texts last minute, or just spending his weekend nights showing up to your plays, Bob is the truest definition of a teacher. I strong...
