I'm a little freaked out. I also don't appreciate the lack of professionalism that has been displayed. I loved the speed and look of my lash extentions I got several times from this salon. A few months ago, I had what could have been symtoms of an allergic reaction from something and I had to give my doctor info about everything that I had put on my skin or consumed. I called the salon to ask if I could have an ingredient list of the glue they use for extentions. I left a message and I never received a call back regarding that. I found out the symptom I was experiencing was a direct result of something else and definitely not anything put on my eyes or consumed. It was a little weird that they (at the salon) weren't willing to at least call me back and assist in what might've been a serious health situation. Since the health episode that occurred was definitely not from the extention process, I didn't think much of it and didn't press for answers about their product. Time passed and recently I made an appointment to have extentions put on again, but got a voice mail that cancelled the appointment without reason, maybe only 15 minutes before it was supposed to happen. I was almost there, so that was inconvenient, but I called back right away to reschedule. I left a message politely asking for a call back to reschedule, but didn't get a call. Before they closed, I called THEM and was told because of the message I left a while ago about a reaction, my appointment was cancelled and it wasn't a good idea for me to have lash extentions through them at all. That's disappointing but ultimately would be ok with me. It makes sense; it's their right to refuse service to any one for any reason. I told her I found out that it absolutely wasn't because of the lash extentions, and that I had had lash extentions of hers on for months with only positive results. She insisted that she couldn't do any extentions for me any more because I was the only one that had a problem out of the 'many, many' clients she has and that she could not tell me what she used on my eyes. I said that I was sure I didn't have a reaction from the product but, alarmed, followed up with the question: 'You don't give out ingredient lists for health reasons and won't tell me what you put on my body? That seems very sketchy.' She said that it's their 'bread and butter' and they 'won't ever give that information out'. I can understand someone wanting to keep a secret recipe so competitors don't copy, but why would you not give me an ingredient list so I know what's going on my face (next to my EYES), first, so I'm fully informed about what it actually is and that it's safe and second, that to know it isn't unhealthy, unsanitary, illegal or unethical? I'm not ok with that information deliberately being hidden. The evasiveness (not giving calls back when a professional business would return them in a timely manner or at all) and refusing service and insisting it was 'better to not have me as an extention client, just in case', seemed like they don't want to deal with a person that wanted to dig deeper into what is actually being used. I get not wanting to give lash extentions to a customer that seemed to have a reaction (even though it wasn't a reaction after all, and she knew that). They could say no, just to be safe, eliminate risk,to protect themselves as a business and maybe to watch out for me as a customer but refusing to tell me what's IN the stuff that's going on my body is scary to me. I don't know what health codes are in this situtation, but I feel like I have a right to know what's going on or in me. If I don't have that right legally, then I want to make sure I am in the know and sure as hell don't want to deal with anyone that wants to hide that...
Read moreI was absolutely NOT SATISFIED with my service. First I was told I could get both nails and lashes but when I got to the appointment she said I could only do one and recommend lashes. I was bumped bc I had a trip planned so I had to make an appointment elsewhere for nails. I proceeded with my lash appt. But during her putting them on she scheduled someone for nail appt. Which was rude yet strange bc i was told to go else where. During apt she upsaled me convinced me to do the most expensive ones. I fell for it. I paid top dollar and gave her a tip. Other than that service went ok. two days after getting them done they started falling off. At first i wasnt too worried bc she said it would happen and it was my first time ever getting them done. The lashes began falling off like crazy after that. I took all the precautions as she adviced me to care for lashes so i was extremely disappointed. I came in to salon as soon as i was back I'm town it was exactly ONE WEEK now since I had the appointment .I EXPRESSED MY CONCERN and how embarrassed i was and if she can please correct them till my next fill which was two to 3 weeks away. She accused me of improper care . I then explained how I cared for them and she proceeded to suggest paying for a fill . So now she wanted me to pay $70 ! After barley just paying her the $150 +tip not even a full week ago! I may not have ever gotten them done but plenty of friends of mine have never had there service go so wrong before neither looked silly with chunks of them coming out before it was time to fill. I am a loyal customer so it's their own business loss to me and lesson learned. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND ANYONE THEIR BUSINESS! HOPEFULLY IT SAVES SOMEONE THE TIME,MONEY &EMBARRASSMENT! DEFINITELY DISSATISFIED! I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR IF IT WASNT TO WITE...
Read moreI went in for a fill and gel polish on Friday. The gentleman did my nails for me and they looked good when I left. However on Saturday the acrylic started peeling off my nails. Monday I called hoping that they would fix the nails that the acrylic peeled from but no answer so I left a message and phone number. I received no call back. So tuesday during my lunch I stopped by and was told that " my powder was old" (??) So he wouldn't guarantee his work. I have had acrylic for many years and nothing like this has happened before..They had excuses that's it. My suggestion go somewhere else.
It seems when a customer has a negative comment you continue to make excuses for yourself. If you felt that the powder was "old" why didn't you offer a new set at only $5.00 more - there is no price list in the shop so I'm guessing on difference in price. The male tech that did my nails is the one without sufficient experience. The acrylic and the polish was straight up my nail instead of covering the full nail. I was in and out in 1/2 hour which shows how he rushed to do the job. Word of mouth is big business builder but I guess you have enough customers. Listening skills are very important also. I said 19 years.
Yes keep the excuses going..with your passive agressive behavior. I'm...
