Canary Spring — Attraction in West Yellowstone

Canary Spring is the crown jewel of Mammoth Hot Springs. This terrace is massively tall and intensely vibrant. You can view Canary from the main loop road down below and from the upper terrace boardwalk. Another must view place among Mammoth hot springs. Very different than the others and terrace has a nice light blue color when seen on a sunny day. Need at 0.25 mile walk down the ramp from upper terrace overlook parking. Also connects to a loop trail within the terrace with all ramp area....

Scenic spot after a pretty long walk from down below. The upper loop road was closed so this walk is a bit with kids and camera gear. The view is unique though. One annoyance is how the boardwalk ends in a viewpoint and doesn’t loop around here....
