Totally worth a few hours wandering around the various loops and trails. We got lucky and watched a 12 minute eruption of Grand Geyser which was spectacular, and Old Faithful twice. There was a bison grazing directly next to the trail, and others in several places. There was, unfortunately, lots of micro trash and vandalism (people marking the bacteria mats, scratching initials into wood, etc). There were also limited restrooms on the trail, which definitely could use improvement and increase time spent on trails if more were available.
It took our sedentary family 47 minutes to get to the Morning Glory Pool from the outer loop and then we took the inner loop (left at Grotto Geyser) all the way around to Old Faithful which took another almost 2 hours.
There was so much variety and different features to see! Well worth the time. Our walk took about 2.5 hours with lots of stopping and also waiting for and then watching Grand Geyser eruption (35 min total).
We definitely would have spent more time and done a few more side-loops if we didn't have to seek a restroom and head back to the Inn. Trail is mostly easy paved or boardwalk with a few hilly areas. There are benches and pull...
