Solana Plaza — Attraction in Westlake

The security lady at this plaza is beyond rude and I did not like how she was talking to my boyfriend and I. There was a car show across the highway and we had came here to Sip Stir Coffee Shop AFTER the show to get some work done. However when we pulled into the parking lot she followed us to where we parked, and got out of her little golf cart and just stood in front of our cars with her arms crossed saying "where are you going?" The tone she said that in was so disrespectful. We told her we were going into the coffee shop and she looked up and down at my boyfriend's car which was obviously modded, with her arms crossed and mockingly said "I don't believe you." Appalled at the disrespect I fired back and explained that we HAD JUST came from the car show and came to the coffee shop to get some work done. She just could not believe us for some odd reason. When in fact any of the normal looking cars there could have been parked to go to the car show. The car show was across the highway and it would have been a long walk, besides there were a lot more places to park on that side of the highway anyway, if we were going to the car show. She disregarded what I said and rudely said "well I'm going to watch you walk in there." I was shocked. She was so rude. I considered not even going into the coffee shop but eventually went in and of course she was right there staring us down. Thankfully I had this encounter recorded on my dash cam since she was right in front of my car. Needless to say as much as I would like to visit Sip Stir more, this will be my last time here. It's sad because it's such a beautiful plaza that has potential but sadly the security lady...

Frankly, I just come here to eat at La Scala Pizzeria for lunch. They have a wide variety of NY style gourmet pizza by the slice, lots of other Italian dishes and salads. VERY popular for lunch, so come early for the best selection. My current fav slices are Chicken Alfredo and BBQ. Family owned/operated and the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff really show that! Love...
