Blue Village Vinyl — Attraction in Westmont

The Blue Village Vinyl & Resale recently moved to 29 E. Chicago Ave., Westmont, IL 60559. The previous building on 309 Ogden Ave., Westmont area has been used to sell many entertainment products & collections over the years. It was REMEMBER WHEN store for many years until the owners retired. Next it was 2NDHAND MALL with the same type of entertainment products. Now it is called BLUE VILLAGE VINYL & RESALE with the same type of entertainment products available. The previous building had a lot of history. Great shop, unbelievable selection. I spent a little more than I am used to for old vinyl records. Some even still have old price tags on them from other stores (i.e., "bargain buy 1.99!", plus the Blue Village price tag at $12, which just makes u feel like you're overpaying) however I'd definitely go back. In addition to vinyl, they have collectible memorabilia - posters, signs, figurines, juke boxes... You can get something great for $1 here, or spend thousands. This place seems small but it's packed with worthwhile things. Most stores would have 30 copies of the Beatles something new, and about 80 more Beatles records but this place might have about 10 Beatles records but they always seem to be the ones you don't have. This guy has great prog rock sensibility, he is very nice to chat with, he has never given us a record that was not of quality (accept maybe one from the dollar to 3 dollar section but that is to be expected.
