Plaza Park — Attraction in Westpark

I forget that this park is here in Irvine. It's a good sized playground for a wide age range of kids. There is ample parking for cars as well. The main picnic area had 3-4 main tables under a structure and then a few random tables under some trees.

Would definitely recommend it if you want to have a picnic with friends who have little kids!

Very large and well maintained City Park. Lights came on in the picnic shelter around 6:00 where we were eating a light dinner. Clean, wide open spaces and lots of playground space for kids. Love the soccer goals and the two fields that have more than enough space for a good soccer game, or whatever floats your boat. The landscape is well groomed and healthy, so it makes for great sport activities, and even for walking it's pleasant....
