Wade's Seafood Shack — Attraction in Westwego

We stopped in to fill our cooler with seafood before going home and was very pleased! We got a 30 pounds of crawfish on a Monday morning and got it home to Oklahoma and out of that many we only had 4 that were dead when we got home!!! That is awesome and they were premium large crawfish and very good eating. We also got some of the very large 9 count shrimp and they were very good as well. I can't remember the man's name, he said he was Wade's son and he was very nice and helpful in our choices! The prices were very good for what we got! This place seems very honest and upfront with what they are doing and were kind enough to put ice in our cooler and recommend on how to layer the seafood for the best results and they were spot on! I stopped by to purchase shrimp from Wade's Seafood Shack. Everyone was professional and friendly. They have everything, including an indoor sweet shop .Dungeness crabs, Alaska king crab legs, scallops ,alligator meat,crawfish, oysters, and different types of beautiful fresh peeled shrimp and cleaned fish.
