If I could give them negative stars, I Would!!! They lost a one of a kind jewelry set! I would never have even used it to get a loan but I had to feed my children after my ex husband got a new girl friend and kicked me out! I paid off my loan and waited for 90 minutes while she tried to find my jewelry. I was told the manager was on vacation and they would call her in the morning to locate my jewerly and then she, Stephanie, would call me and let me know when.I.could come pick it up. I received NO call! So at noon I called her. Still didn't find anything!!! I was then told by Stephanie that she would contact manager on vacation and call me before closing so I could go pick it up. Once again, NO CALL! So I called right before 7 and no answer! I called the store on Colfax and Sheridan who then gave me the 800 number. The gentleman was very nice when he told me if they lost it, they would replace! Well all nice and good but it's ONE OF A KIND!! There is really no amount of money could replace this set!!! I also wondering WHY THEY CAN NOT EVEN HAVE THE COMMON COURTESY TO CALL ME AND TELL ME THEY LOST IT OR SOMEONE DECIDED THEY WANTED TO KEEP IT!!! I used to tell everyone this was.the best place to go..trustworthy, friendly and dependable! Stephanie was nice but obviously didnt think my feelings or my business was worth a 2 minute phone call!!! I am beyond upset!! I would NEVER PAWN ANYTHING...

Ok I never have wanted or needed to review a pawn shop .My thought is you seen one you've been burned by them all.Until I really needed a pawn shop to be a good thing for my situation.I used to be like I only purchase from a pawn shop not hawk my stuff.Until real life kicked and ya its get money now or its gonna result in stuff I do not want.I can say Destiny ,and the guys there are like super smart those dudes are like the geek squad pawn brokers. THEY KNOW SOME SHIZZ.I ave more than one occasion been witness or experienced some kind of smart dude stuff that wowed me.I am not easily impressed but when I came to them told them I owed the mafia jjkn I did open up ,and I had stuff worth money.alot people get hurt when they can't get what they expected .I got awesome help info and I gained a few things I bought from this ez pawn as a major come up great deals .They have a weird inventory but it always ending up that I can't get what I want but the best part is getting what I need. It feels way better.They try to say ez pawn is all every store is.I say um hell no this ez pawn is exceptional .The guys will educate you ,and Miss destiny is willing to loan every single cent as long as its a decent item that is in demand a better brand helps as does the condition your stuff is in.Tell them you saw my review and you'll get a free 1979 Chrysler La baron .Syke they will do the best for your...

Worst Pawn Shop Experience

I have been in this location many times looking for items and never had an issue. Today, I went in to make a payment on a friends loans that he had with this location. Upon entering the store, the whole staff was standing at one register laughing. After walking to the front and explaining I was there to make a payment, the one guy that greeted me walked around the counter to help me. While in the meantime(Assistant Manager) Jack and Store Manager Carlos decided they would laugh about where the keys went that they found. Not helping the customer, but making the older associate do the work. After I told them that someone had called stating I was bring money for their pawns and this was the money they gave me. All 4 of them proceeded to laugh and then Jack looked at the computer screen and said "Well, I guess we can do this." Then tell me its going to be $4 more after seeing the amount on the money order. Never have I had any issues with EZ Pawn, but in this case I will be back every week. There will be a review weekly to see if any improvements are made. From now on the store I will spend my money in will be the 9052 N Federal Blvd location. Never in 3 years have I had a problem with this location and from now on I won't go...
