Break Escape — Attraction in Wheeling Township

My fiance and I did the "Entry Denied" escape room yesterday, and we had SO MUCH FUN! We have done an escape room once before in the past, which was linear in nature, and it felt like we were merely poking and prodding around the room to escape, rather than solving riddles/puzzles. We loved how the "Entry Denied" escape room was more mentally challenging and actually required us to think outside the box. Thank you to the friendly voice speaking to us inside the room and providing helpful pointers as we were struggling at some points, lol! And thank you to the gentleman who oriented us to the room; we also appreciated him showing us how the room would be solved at the end (it would've drove me nuts if I didn't know how it all ended!). Overall, WONDERFUL experience! I would recommend Break Escape to anyone looking for a fun date night idea, family outing, or team building exercise. We were in the car on the way home, and I wanted to turn around and do another room. We especially appreciated how well executed the escape room was; whoever designed it put very careful thought into the development, and we were so impressed by how someone could think of such creative things! This place is awesome!! I actually proposed to my girlfriend in the “Crazy Ex” room. It was a great theme to surprise her, and she had no clue that it was coming.

The room was probably the hardest room that we’ve (our group of 4) have done. We needed all 3 clues, but still had a fantastic time! We solved it, and the proposal went off perfectly as planned. They were totally accommodating, helped make sure everything was set up just right and made sure it worked the way we planned.

We even stuck around to try the 10 minute escape room, just as an added challenge, and we loved it. I would highly recommend trying it, especially for only $10 a person.

I called today saturday 12:27 pm I asked the guy I asked him how much for each person he said 29 . I said do you give discount if I purchased 4 he said “ why would we do that” I said im just asking and he is being mean I said I’m just gonna buy it on groupon since its cheaper there I was gonna ask if they will match the price instead of me buying in groupon he told then just buy it in groupon I told him he is mean I am the customer and I’m just asking a question why are you being rude you can just say no we dont offer discount instead of why would we do that in mean tone . you lost business !! mean person on the phone !!! we’re goin somewhere...
