I personally love this park because it’s the perfect little size for 1-3 year olds. And I love how walkable it is to coffee shops and the AH Library! The fountain is pretty to look at, and there’s so much grassy space to setup a picnic or just relax! Highly recommend if you need an outing with your littles! #arlingtonheights #arlingtonheightsillinois #northwestsuburbs #chicagosuburbs #localparks #toddleractivities #toddlermomlife

This is a great spot for families to walk around and see Christmas lights for the holiday. We went after Christmas and the lights were still up. We took a 2, 3, 4 and 8 year old and they loved running around to all the different light displays. It doesn't take very long to see all the displays but enough time, considering the cold weather. It's a short walk from the Arlington Heights train station.

I went here for an event for mothers Day. Park is small with a small playground which was very crowded and easy for kids to get bored. It has bathrooms that are limited to open only on events, which is a downside. The event itself was okay. Got some free items. It was only 3 hours long. I had waited in a line for the face painting, which had a line through the whole park and was very slow. One of the volunteers eventually told me they weren't taking any more people after the person in front of me, and I had people wating behind me as well. What a waste of time. The only nice thing about this park is...

North Park School shines at holiday time with the best local light show in the area. From a hugs Happy Holidays row of magnificently lit trees, lit igloo with penguins, and beautiful nativity scene -- fun for all ages and great for photos. During the summer, the Village of Arlington Heights hosts special events here, and any day is a good day to visit with a stroll by the beautiful fountain. Note: no...
