North School Park — Attraction in Wheeling Township

I went here for an event for mothers Day. Park is small with a small playground which was very crowded and easy for kids to get bored. It has bathrooms that are limited to open only on events, which is a downside. The event itself was okay. Got some free items. It was only 3 hours long. I had waited in a line for the face painting, which had a line through the whole park and was very slow. One of the volunteers eventually told me they weren't taking any more people after the person in front of me, and I had people wating behind me as well. What a waste of time. This is a great spot for families to walk around and see Christmas lights for the holiday. We went after Christmas and the lights were still up. We took a 2, 3, 4 and 8 year old and they loved running around to all the different light displays. It doesn't take very long to see all the displays but enough time, considering the cold weather.
