Recreation Park — Attraction in Wheeling Township

Recreation pool is huge, 50m x 25y, with room for everyone. 2 diving boards, lap lanes, and shallow play area for the kids, all at the same time. Sundays 9:30-11:30 this pool opens 50 meter lanes for adult swim. There is often debris and leaves on the bottom of the pool, but the water itself is incredibly clear.

The park also has a baseball diamond with lights, large playground facilities, tennis courts, walking paths, picnic grass, and a community center. The landscaping is nice enough to bring your favorite person for a walk, including flowers...

The main part building is rather old but I play basketball when I was a kid there. It has a lot of character. It is not handicapped accessible however. In the summer they have a 50 m pool. Definitely the most run down of all of the Arlington Heights parks. The most lackluster pool and buildings. They have an okay tennis court, playground with wood chips, and a baseball field.
