We saw A Christmas Carol for opening night and we were extremely pleased with the performance. The set looked gorgeous and we were very impressed with all of the lighting and effects throughout the performance. The theatre had an elegant look too it from the lobby area to the inside seating. It was also nice that there is a lot of restaurants and other shopping nearby, which makes for a nice trip to have dinner and see a performance. The cast (ranging from very young to old) did an excellent job and were very talented and spot on through the whole performance. Tiny Tim (Eva) did a fantastic job! There was lots of laughs and also some pretty intense scenes as well. The singing was very good. We had a really great time seeing the performance and would definitely recommend it!

I had a fantastic time at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights! I went to see *Mean Girls*, and it was an absolute blast—especially because my cousin was one of the stars! The theater has a small and cozy layout, which made the experience feel intimate and engaging. The seats were comfy, and the entire place was clean and well-maintained. The employees were all friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall enjoyment. I can't wait to go back for another show!

Visited to see “The Christmas Carol” opening night and I loved every second of it! The lightning, the sound, the intimacy of the crowd… this theatre is one of the good ones! Parking was free for the show (not sure if it’s always like this), around a nice amount of food places in case you want to eat before or after the show, and they even have their own mini bar to get wine or beer during the show (I tried their red wine and it was nice for someone who doesn’t really drink wine!)

Think twice before having your wedding here if you have guests with dietary restrictions. We were told they could NOT accommodate food allergies and that guests with food allergies should bring their own carryout food into the venue. Yes, you read that correctly. Metropolis is good with foam carryout boxes being brought into the venue in the middle of the reception. Metropolis wants the wedding guests (perhaps in formal attire) to leave the wedding, pick-up carryout, and then bring it back to guests with dietary restrictions. With more than 10 percent of the population over the age of 18 having a food allergy and countless more with celiac and other dietary restrictions, we are not sure Metropolis can stay in business with this very close-minded and extremely outdated and lazy position. Multiple other wedding venues will accommodate dietary restrictions and in fact highlight their goal of ALL guests having an enjoyable time at an event. Metropolis likely won't be around much longer with...

We usually have like everything here for years but Addams was worse than irritating. Would have left in beginning but didn't want to disturb others by going all way down to front & back to get around the full length fence.

Addams was awful. Music so loud couldn't hear words instead of quiet background. Voices screechy & quavering used more yelling than any emotion of the moment.

Not funny at all, and repetitious. Many left at intermission, or sat in car to wait for rest of party.

Have never left a play downtown or suburbs no matter how bad to see what the point might be, but we also left this one, it's not redeemable. You need to tap into high schools for some fabulous talent, as well as Loyola's actors. Never bad no matter the type or difficulty of theme.

Strangely, others said was bad don't go. We figured how bad could a...
