Brought my phone in because it wasn't charging. The guy at the front desk looked into the port and said "there's definitely a piece of plastic in there, it'll be 59.99 to get it out, it's stuck." When I questioned him about it, he wasn't happy. I left, went to another place and they took my phone in the back; under 1 min they said there wasn't any stuck plastic just a lot of built up lint, and then they blew it out with air quickly at no charge. Not sure if they're conning people. There was another older gentleman there with a similar issue and they asked him if he went to the beach because there's sand in his charging port....he said he hasn't been to the beach in years. Appears to be one of those places, unfortunately.
(Edit: Response to owner's response: That's very inaccurate. Many phone repair shops offered to blow out the port quickly to see if there was an actual problem or just some dust or lint, and did not attempt to scam or upsell. To suggest many phone repair shops attempt to lie or scam, that hasn't been my experience, other than your location - I'm only saying this because I was blatantly lied to, as was the older gentleman waiting. This isn't a price issue, it's an ethical concern. Now that I think of it, after the lie you guys tried to also sell me on a discount plan. I'm glad I escaped doing business there, but I feel for the people - like the older gentleman - who don't know any better. I'm sure you guys do good work, but honesty is...
Read moreDon't Trust these guys!!!! Very POOR service I received from this ubreakifix location. I brought in my broken flip phone because the touch screen did not work and since the phone was only 2 months old I needed to go through Samsung warranty to fix it. After They did not have the part so told me it would take a couple days. I told them that I was going out of the country in a few days so I needed it fixed. I called a couple days later to check on the status, to find out that the part is on back order, don't know when it will be in. I was very upset especially when no one called me to tell me this. I asked them if they could just fix the frozen screen so I can transfer all my information to my new phone. New phone is another crazy story but nothing to do with them. They told me that they couldn't do anything about it they have to follow what Samsung way of fitting the phone. BUT for $200.00 they could transfer my info onto the new phone. I asked how and they said they would fix the touch screen then download everything. So why can't you just fix the touch screen let me download my stuff and then wait for the plug to come in and they do what you have to without charging me since is a no charge warranty issue. They of course said NO it would be $200.00. This whole thing did not make sense and they were NOT going to work with me, especially since drop the ball on this whole situation. POOR SERVICE!!!! will never...
Read moreI do not recommend this service! Not professional employees. I had a problem with the back glass peeling off on my samsung s 24 ultra phone. When he arrived, he informed them about the problem of ungluing the glass for unknown reasons. The phone is new, bought in July this year. The service technician took a look and said that this is not a warranty case, since someone had already removed the back glass of the case, as well as the camera. When asked how he understood this, he answered that there are fingerprints on the rear camera from the inside. I reported that the phone is new and no one has opened or disassembled it. After telling the tech they were protective caps and removing them, he told me to forget about those fingerprints that confused him. After that, he began to respond in order not to solve this problem, and also did not want to evaluate the service that I was sent to from the official Samsung website. Conclusion: the employees of this service are not professional, since the technician could not distinguish the protective glass of the camera from...
