I love the dog park. Everone I've met there is very nice and cooperative in managing their dogs as they play together. Most people therw are pretty knowledgeable about dog behavior and don't get upset when the dogs roughhouse. Anytime someone's dog gets a little too excited the owners are right there to correct the behavior but still let the dogs have fun. My dog wasn't socialized to other dogs but he adapted ralmost immediately. There is a big dog side and a littlw dog side which is nice because bigger dogs when romping could accidentally hurt a small dog. They provide clean up bags and everyone cleans up after their dog. There are nice benches and a walking path around the perimeter so people who want to walk the path while their dogs play can do that. I bring a towel in the mor ning because the benches will be pretty wet with dew in...

Read moreWe have a "small" dog and she loves to run at the dog park. There is plenty of room and she makes quite a few circuits. There is fresh water and bowls, and even a fire hydrant for those dogs who are so inclined. The grass is kept cut and there are benches in the shade for those who don't want to run with their dog. The dogs and dog parents are interesting and generally quite nice. Clean up bags and a garbage can are provided though some owners get distracted and don't clean up as well as they should. It's tough to blame the city or the dogs...
