This is an add on to the review comment from the owner, my name is Melissa, you probably don't have my name as on my profile here. Thats why you have no record of it on file, but yet you still didn't recognize the issue I expressed in my review complaint below. I’m highly disappointed and now the mower has been taken to a different mower mechanic. For many years this particular mower has been maintained in excellent working order up until the last 2 summers with Premier Outdoor. No one seemed to notice these things it can back doing so in my opinion and logical thinking by any human would be it’s not fixed just because the problem it left is fixed and it comes back with more problems isn’t fixed. I went 2 summers begging and narrowing for money to take it here and for someone to lend a mower to me. That’s another thing they never even offered to lend one to me even though they were the cause of the mower being down and when I asked if they could rent me one the one they had was broke down!????? So here is a list of what happened: paid to have it picked up for maintenance as normal expecting it to come back working like new as usual however it comes back that time without the blades sharpened or replaced. I said whatever it needed, came back leaking gas into the oil after I had them fix the oil leak. Picked it up and they had bent a part that caused the leak. Still had to pay for everything the whole time. They brought it back and it sounded like it was a race car. It fooled so high oh ought it was gonna explode. But it had no power to cut grass unless the grass was thin in some areas. Picked it up again cam back less idolly but zero power. I’m a woman and everyone was telling me they took advantage but I said they never did that before. But I d t know what happened but they moved and I never got the Sam great repair and maintenance ever again. I willl never use them or recommend them ever again. All that money I’m out and I had to have someone else pick it up to fix it. Putting more money into it. Shouldn’t of been that way at all. They just didn’t seem to care. They broke it and I paid them to fix their mistakes and I still didn’t have a mower and I’m out of alllll that money. They only thing they offered the one time was free tow. I still had to pay for parts which came to over 100$ that time. The last time. I felt so ripped off and so disappointed and it made me look so foolish and stupid. I trusted them whole heartedly in the past and then for 2 summers I was bummed. All I wanted was to cut the damn grass. How hard is it to do your own profession? I don’t get it? I was ready to buy a new one from them after my Mom sold her place and donate 2 riders to their rental mowers for all their services and now I wouldn’t call them or recommend them. I’ll do opposite. My feelings are hurt. My trust is broken. They move and they changed. ...
Read moreI took both of my mower & edger into Premier to see if they could be fixed. Alas, they had lived a long life and were cost prohibitive to repair. Molly helped me purchase a new mower and edger that day. Molly said if the mower wasn’t a good match, she would find one that was. She stood behind her word and the mower I ultimately purchased was an electric Echo, self- propelled push mower. The mower is a dream! I can push it with one had. (I’m not a very big person so this says a lot!) The only thing that would make it better is if it would serve me coffee. I have over 1/3 acre and the battery lasted for nearly the entire very lush, very thick lawn. The mower can accommodate 2 batteries so I may invest in a second one, but one works well for now. The battery recharges quickly, so I had time to do some edging with my new edger, also an Echo. Molly listened to my criteria and found the best mower for me at a fantastic price. Molly is very kind, knowledgeable & courteous; THE best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Every single person, both in service and sales, was top notch and treated me with respect. I will certainly be returning customer for my maintenance and supplies. I feel fortunate that a trustworthy and informed business such as Premier Outdoor Equipment is part of the Whiteland community. I would shop them before any big box store option hands down....
Read moreI generally do not leave reviews but Molly is the most helpful and knowledgeable salesperson regarding the Scag Turf Tiger 2 I recently purchased. I spoke to at least 5 Scag dealers, my local Deere and Kubota dealerships which I've had great service from regarding construction / farm equipment. They couldn't meet the level of service that I recieved from this place.
It took me 6 months to finally pull the trigger on a $17,000 lawn mower as that's an insane number but it's the best one money can buy after talking to multiple owners of lawn care businesses, Deere 970R was the 2nd choice but after looking them over they didn't compare to the Turf Tiger 2 with 40hp briggs. I also recieved a quote that was $2,000ish less than any other Scag dealer that I spoke with. This mower will be used at a commercial property that we could not find a reliable lawn company to service for less than $1,000 a month. It just made sense to put a mower onsite and have someone swing by for 2 hrs a week and mow. I wish I would of thought of this sooner. This should cut our yearly operation costs significantly over the 10-15yrs of owning a reliable machine capable of handling 4 acres a week in short...
