1 Hour Jewelry Repair — Attraction in Wichita

Went in to get me and my girl a piece with our names on it and decided we wanted the display piece PAT size and he said $500. Paid him $1000 for both pieces and decided to text me saying it’ll be $250 extra for my girls Pat size necklace since I was ok with downsizing my piece from a previous convo we had —mine would stay 500. But when I brought up on the receipt it said 2 Pat size $500 each totaling $1000. Which I paid in full. Didn’t even finance. But over the phone he said he knows he said that but the gold is more and if I don’t like the price change then I can come get my money back and I did. It’s the principle of things and how you run a business I felt like a number and i was only a price tag to them. Granted I heard good things about this place and my mom knows him personally. I’ll take my business elsewhere it’s a shame cause he does have some nice pieces. Just poor customer service when it comes to a total price and it was paid in full why charge me out of nowhere $250 more. It was all on paper ! Can’t really read his handwriting but the pic says 2 Pat 10kt and the names and price and then he marked it paid which is the word scribbled and circled. If it’s paid why am I paying more out of pocket 😭

Went in to simply inquire about a pocket watch and a man took one look at it and said we don't do pocket watches. Then he said it wasn't real gold. (Come to find it was real gold from 1883) I asked if they could even tell me anything more about it and he just continued to shake his head and say we dont do pocket watches. I asked if he knew anyone who would look at it or knew more about pocket watches and he told me AOK. Poor customer service. Very short and vague. Not out for your best interest.
