Driving by the sign caught my attention. I looked them up & was intrigued seeing they do a gluten free cheesecake…I love cheesecake!! When reading their story I knew I had to try them out! My son & I randomly decided to pop in one evening & I immediately loved the energy. Super cute spot! The gentleman behind the counter welcomed us & was so nice, patient & accommodating after we said it’s our first time in there. I started rambling about how I’d read the family’s story & was super excited to try it out & he smiled from ear to ear. My son asked are you the owner? He said he was & I was so happy I got the opportunity to have his help on my first visit. We decided to do a mini dozen to try different flavors. We chose key lime, fruity pebbles, cookies & cream, chocolate peanut butter, OG, chocolate, white chocolate raspberry, raspberry limoncello, & chocolate covered strawberry. Doubled up on a couple fave flavors. We were blown away at how every single one was so delicious! The flavors of each was spot on to what you’d think & even better than you’d think. I told a couple friends who ended up loving them just as much with different flavors - kings cake, tiramisu, crème brûlée…& one of them doesn’t even like cheesecake so there you have it!! It’s so good!!! ! Everything was reasonably priced. I love that it’s a small family business & love to support local. Highly recommend you check...
Read moreThe cost of the desserts and variety is fantastic. The different flavors of the mini cheesecakes are very fun. We got a pack of them and the cannoli. The taste of the cheesecake were phenomenal. The cannoli was fine but I think that may be more the nature of the desert, rather than how it was prepared.
I was unaware there were different options for the types of or wraps of the cannoli. When the employee asked me, I thought she was asking which chocolate flavor I wanted. I asked some clarification questions but she kept repeating the same thing and was visibly irritated by this. I eventually realized what she meant and got the desserts.
However, if you're going to work in customer service, I think it's reasonable to expect to explain things to people without immediately getting upset and having an attitude.
After leaving I could hear and see her through the window complaining about it. She was throwing her hands up in an exasperated manner. This isn't the type of service that makes me feel appreciated as a customer, nor does it make me want to return.
We were the only customers there at the time and came in well before closing, I don't feel we should have been treated poorly for simply...
Read moreDidn't realize they only sell 4 inch cheesecakes for a whopping $10. They have regular sized (10 or 12 inch) cheesecake.. for $45!!!! Also, there is no store. It is a collective of different vendors with just 1 person to make the whole store. Kind of a cool place, but... this cheesecake place is a single Freezer. Also yes. They are FROZEN. Lastly, they do not taste as good as they are priced. We tried the OG New York, Créme Brulee, and Key Lime. Key lime was our favorite. The New York was edible. But the Créme Brulee? I took 1 bite and it tasted weirdly bitter, and then I felt the alcohol burn. I thought I was crazy, but there it was on the ingredients list... not disclosed anywhere else.
Overall... I do not recommend this cheesecake seller. We were pretty disappointed, especially because it was purchased as a gift. You're better off buying grocery store cheesecake.
Also, the cannolis are not made. They are cannoli kits, which we did not...
