This is a wonderful city park tucked into an old neighborhood. There are large grassy areas, tennis courts and a well used public pool. The architecture of the park reflects an older (and to my mind) attractive approach to public structures.

   Read moreI've gone here since I was a kid. So it is one of my favorite parks. Tennis courts with lights for nite play a basketballcourt and trees that are old big and full of shade. Great paths for walking and a nice open grass plain for practicing your chip shot, flying a kite, or playing some catch with baseballand mits or football frisbee or kicking the soccer ball around. Everyone os nice a steady police patrol for safety and there is wven a swimming pool open to the public but really feels like a private one for the neighborhood. Go!!...
   Read moreI live inches from this place. The squirrels are rude and steal my bird feeder seed. The rabbits eat my flowers and won't pay rent for their under deck burrows. The birds eat my worms and rarely thank me for the seed. I mean sure it's nice and scenic and peaceful and the neighbors are great and there are fun activities but the wildlife is a bunch of freeloaders. Darn fluffy, playful critters are a drain on the system other than their natural tendency to enhance my outdoor enjoyment. Quite frankly enough is enough. I only give it 5...
