I am finally writing this review from the fantastic job & help we received from Ekblad's.
In August our dishwasher was having draining issues. I went and looked for some ideas on a replacement. They were so helpful and printed off specifications for each dishwasher I was interested in.
My husband and I looked them all over, read online reviews and made a decision. We then went back to the store to purchase. We actually ended up purchasing a different model then those we were looking at.
When the staff came to install we realized that we had actually had a much smaller original appliance than what we thought. The guys were so kind and had to move some shelves as well as figure out how our system worked as it was a very unique case.
They ran and got parts that were needed and got the system up and running.
About two weeks later we began to have the same issue with the new dishwasher. I called down to Ekblad's and they sent someone out. He wasn't one of the original crew that came out so I explained the situation to him. We were going to have to do some switching and then he realized what it could be. He pulled the drain and found that there was an elbow that had a clog. He replaced the elbow with a straight fitting and everything has worked wonderful since.

Read moreWe've bought 4 appliances from there and all have needed work soon after purchase. They have the standard year warranty but tough luck if it happens to be just after the year warranty.
Appliances are not cheap and if we have to plan to buy something new every year we are definitely going to find a business that has better coverage, customer service and hopefully...
Read moreThe only thing distinguishing home stores versus buying online is customer service. I've been here multiple times and have been unimpressed. The last time I walked in there to buy a replacement lint trap for our new dryer. I wanted to buy online, but my husband insisted to go to the store where he bought the dryer. There was one couple looking at washers and both employees were attending to them. I walked in, was not greeted by either employee, even though the saw me because I walked 2 feet away from them. I stood at the desk for 10 minutes while they both were just chatting with the couple. The phone rang and one employee came over and answered, I was standing within 2 feet of him. He then ignored me again and told the other couple to come check out. Even the couple told him to help me because they were still looking and anyone could see how rude both employees were acting. The lady even made a comment to me about it. Sorry, but this business can't compete with Sears or Amazon in the first place. And they don't even have the redeeming...
