While on a temporary assignment for a few months in Williston my wife brought her wedding set in for a cleaning and inspection this April 2018. She was told that the prongs on her center diamond needed to be rebuilt because they were worn and the diamond could be lost. When we got the rings back my wife commented that the center diamond looked cloudy and not as sparkly as it did before. My wife was suspicious and asked if it’s the same diamond that was in the ring. The young man said that the only work done was the prong repair and that the diamond is the same one she brought in. After returning home the next month we brought the ring to our local jeweler and he said the diamond had been “smoked” by getting too hot during the repair process and would need to be re-cut or replaced. I called the store and they denied any reisponsibility and would not admit they ruined my wife’s ring. The young man said his father owned the store and was a master diamond cutter and said a diamond can’t be burnt “that’s why diamonds are forever”.. I’ve done a little investigating and found out it’s quite common for diamonds to be damaged by excessive heat during repairs. It’s now been 4 months since and now they say they can’t find any record of my wife’s repairs,.. how convenient. If I wasn’t 900 miles away in Texas I’d file a law suit on this clown. Now I’m looking at getting the diamond re-cut for $550 and getting it back at a lower weight, or spending $4700 on a replacement. I have no doubt this jeweler is the kind of jeweler that provides fodder for 60 Minutes and 20/20 every time they want to do an expose’ on crooked Jewelers. STAY AWAY from this...
Read moreI left a ring on February 7 a turquoise ring. They told me it would take a month. They gave me a huge run around telling me multiple stories about what needs to be done. I sent them an email just last week that was not replied to along with calls that were also not replied too. When I finally called to complain after three months of run around. The owner was incredibly rude to me he basically told me if you're in such a hurry just come pick it up. And when I said can you please just give me an ETA on my ring is it going to be another three months? And he said if I'm gonna catch a bunch of hassle about this I don't even want to do it. Mind you this is the owner I'm speaking to the representative of the company. Then I asked him don't you want to make customers happy? So I'm going to go pick up my ring and I'm sure it has never even been touched by the repair people. This place is highly unprofessional I can tell they make a lot of money by the way they can just let a ring to sit and then let it get picked up with no work done to it. Don't go to these people. There are other...
Read moreThey helped my fiance pick out a gorgeous ring for me! I had some odd requests for what I wanted and they knew exactly how to blend those requests with style! When I needed it resized, it was done the next morning. Later, when there was a diamond loose, they told me it could be fixed within 2 days. I was unable to pick it up at that time, and they offered to allow me to pick it up after their normal business hours. They have been so kind everytime I've...
